Just got a TE stick, should be tight, probably won’t let the triplets use it b/c they will 360 the stick to death.
Seems most of us are getting SF4 for the 360 which I think is best. PS3 so expensive and seems xbox has better community.

I forgot how much it sucks playing fighters without a pad. Especially Marvel on the DC pad.
And if anyone knows how to fix arcade sticks, PM me. My Agetec stick isn’t working properly and I don’t have money for an HRAP2 and converter at the moment.
It really depends on what’s wrong and what caused it to malfunction in the first place. UglyDuckling and I have both made our own sticks in the past, so we know a little about arcade sticks (soldering, etc.) I’ll PM you.
Given a choice between 360 and PS3, which would be better for me to buy for HDRemix, SFIV, and just general Utah group involvement? It seems as though there are more XBox tags, hence more 360’s.

Do you need a Hard Drive for HDRemix and SFIV? If so, what size?
I honestly haven’t paid much attention to the current gen systems…I had figured to be content with my PS2 and be done, but SF keeps calling to me so here I am.
Your best bet is to buy the XBOX 360 with the 60 gig harddrive. It’s 299.99 but you really need the 360 harddrive to buy HDREMIX, which you have to download, and SF4 most likely will have patches.

They don’t open up inventory at gamestop until like 11:00 am, if you go it at gamestop. Also they use UPS who most likely are still open on president’s day.

If they don’t have it by this week, I’m considering on just getting my money back and getting sticks for the PS2 and PS3 since Evo’s using those consoles. I could just buy a fight pad for the 360. Plus, I really miss Marvel right now.
Alright, I just signed up for the Provo Towne Center SFIV tournament. It’s on Saturday, Feb 21 at 2pm. I was one of five or six people on the list, and the oldest at 30. Some teenagers (15 and 17, I think) and some in their mid-twenties. Good age range, I’d say.
Ugly Duckling and one of his brothers have said that they’ll go sign up later today, and with Jizzz_frame (have you signed up, yet?), we’ve pretty well got the PTC tournament covered. Not won, necessarily, but represented by SRK members.
We need some people up in Davis and Weber counties…(Ogden, Layton, etc.) and Cache Valley (Logan). Anyone have friends up there that play?
Also…I’m getting my hands on a 360 with 60g HD and ordering some SFIV! I’ve got an awesome and patient wife.

Dude, my wife had to go pick it up from Circuit City because she’s the one with the credit card. They have the 360 Arcade and 360 w/60G drive for 25% off in Orem. It came out with tax to $240.
Of course, then I had to put my son to bed. BUT…now I’m off to GameStop to trade in some old games (they’re giving you trade-in value +20% towards the purchase of SFIV) before they close.

Jizzz_frame, if you prefer American style sticks, go to arcade shock and look at their line of MAS sticks, they have one going for 185.00, all black, sweet looking. Uses american style joystick and buttons.
