give it a chance, it might not be 3rd strike complex in way of mechanics but i think sf4 is more about mind games. Still requires a great deal of execution…dont knock it, It’s good stuff.
I’m the host. Glad to see more ppl posting on the forums and some from way back. There’s a ranbat (ranking battle tournament) this Saturday, pm me for more detail such as address and cell number.
So this is not just a get together. More of a small tournament, 5 bucks gets you in.
There are casuals (get togethers) during the week, like today at my house. Wallace the wall holds casuals on Thursday nights in Ogden, and the Triplets hold it down regularly in Provo/Orem. I think Wallace is really into VF5, SF4 and some other games. The Triplets play SF4, 3S, CVS2. I only play SF4 as that’s the competitive game these days nationwide.
This next upcoming Saturday is a ranbat for SF4, so nothing else played. Not sure what you play, but the tourney should last 3 hrs or more so you won’t see any other games being played. Maybe someone will throw in 3S, MVC2 at the end of the night.
I’ll post more details about the Ranbat tonight. GET hype folks, this turnout should be 30 ppl or so, all pay to play to.
