You’re late to the party. We already have a Ranbat season started. Ranbats take place every two weeks. We also usually get together for casuals multiple times a week. Talk to Andy (HadoukenMD) if you’re interested in showing up when we get together.

No offense taken, Haven’t read it, sorry, I’ve been working 87hours a week and I’m a Marine with military obligations.
Good to go, I’ve been working with Game Grid Arcade (soon to be Nitrocade I believe) to prep for an early-mid June organized gathering of SF4 players. I’ll try and contact Andy shortly but if I don’t, if you guys could get me a list of interested SF4 players that would travel to Bountiful for a get-together early-mid june. Price per person for the event is currently estimated at $5-10 per person. Depending on whether food is provided etc.
On a side note, I’m not a long time SRK member, nor have I been an arcade junkie (its been about 10-15 years). I’m probably not the best SF4 player in Utah either, but I’d like to organize us formally and publicly and try to get the word out there. So grab your non-SF fan friends if you can get them to come. Spectators welcome. I’m trying to get some large screen TVs to entertain those waiting. If we could also set up a pre-set tournament roster for the gathering, that would be awesome.
I’m not trying to be the “big shot” here, just trying to organize and grow the community. Please let me know of anything I can do/find out for you guys and lets get this ball rolling.

Deception, having stuff at your place is fine, but just be aware that the Ranbats have a bit of money tied up in them. Don’t know if paid tournies will work well.
But if you host, make it awesome, because Andy’s have become highly preferred.

No worries, its not my place, I’m just talking to an arcade owner. I’m just a motivated SF4 fan that’s trying to get not only hardcore Street Fighter fans but gather non-SF’rs and introduce them into the SF world. Not to mention organize the Utah SF community if I can do anything to help.
On a side note, could anyone get me a phone number to contact ‘andy’ by? I don’t want to step on his ranbats toes, nor did I want to conflict with him. On the contrary I’d like to work with him to bring the community to as many venues and skill levels as possible. PM me with any additional information.

Ogden gathering was nuts tonight. Great games to Gallows, Wall, HimFan, and Utahsbowser. Logan/Ogden as a united region is looking good, especially if Thursday sticks as the gathering night - in its own weird way, it just works.
Nice casuals tonight. Biggest casual night in awhile. About 10 ppl I think. Nice to see new ppl like Derek and Colton. Highlight of the night? Seeing Colton destroy Kelly’s Rog like a noob! Lariat > Jab LOL.
Probably the most I’ve played in awhile. At least Wade beat me once. . .not sure if he saw that I was textin on my cell the whole time. LOL. Your focus attacks are getting too sick these days.
