I don’t care where the ranbat takes place. The U is perfectly fine with me.
However, I’m sure that it will make it hard for some people, who were planning to attend on Saturday, to make it to the U. Especially people outside of Salt Lake. 6pm is kind of rough even for me and I’m right in the area. You people better speak up!
Keep the ranbats at their initial date. While the U would be fine with a lot of us. Many have already made plans to get the dates previously posted off of work, or just already have it planned.
Just keep it saturday in my opinion. It’s just easier for most people to make it to these events on weekends. Plus what would we do if some random people showed up to the U tourney and wanted to enter that tourney but weren’t interested in our ranbat yet placed in the top 6. It could fuck with our ranking system.
Oh man, at the 5 min mark of the Iyo vs Daigo video… Daigo wiffs a shoryuken and it looks like Iyo does B+Fierce (headbutt) into Light Yoga Flame xx Super. I need to start using that. And using my slides more effectively in fireball fights so I don’t always end up in the corner. Good video.

Okur being sidelined means that we only have Boozer/Harpring to post up and they are both broken…it’s sad this year.
I agree, Poongko just needs more experience with different playstyles and he will be tops. His execution is unbelievable with all those focus cancels, 10x harder than Rog’s shit. He is very fun to watch though.
Also, anyone thinking that Justin is cocky…well that may be so, but he is just getting HYPE. Those videos made my day.
Jazz suck. It’s hard being depressed when I knew they would get swept anyway. Doesn’t matter who they got matched up with. If it wasn’t the Lakers they would still lose.
Speaking of depressing though… Looks like my Finkle is on the death bed. When holding down/right on the stick the ‘A’ button doesn’t work at all. If you continue holding the button when you move to another position on the stick then short kick will then fire off. Sometimes if you keep on holding after that the kicks will keep firing off constantly until you let go. Really disappointing after only having the stick for 3 months. I emailed the guy, so I guess we’ll see what he says. Guess I’ll give this TE stick a shot or something. Meh

I noticed that same thing at Lord LuXun’s house when I was using your Finkle stick while playing Balrog. I was charging down/right and when I hit LK Balrog would do something that wasn’t LK lol I didn’t really think anything of it then, perhaps it’s just a wiring issue. Can you open it up and see if there’s a ground wire in the wrong place or loose somewhere on down, right, or A?

P.S. Feel bad for the Jazz. . . they my 2nd favorite team… .behind the one they are playing now. They got riddled with injury, couldn’t get things gelling well when ppl came back, Boozer’s a bitch. Hard fo me to go to a playoff game and spend money for tickets if they gonna get fucked. I went to three games last year. …shit was off the hook.
I’m really looking forward to next season, a healthy team, plus a good replacement for Boozer will be nice.

How are we handling the brackets if there is an odd number of people? I think the way it is supposed to be done is to make the first bye the top seed, in this case it’s Brian. Then if another bye is needed it will go down the list making Andrew, Jacob, Me, then Mike. But I don’t think that many byes will be necessary.
I’m also assuming that the seeding is going from the previous tournament, not the overall rankings, correct? So we already know the first 6 placings on the bracket; Brian, Andrew, Jacob, Kelly, Mike, Dana. The rest will be placed randomly?
