Well, we have at least two people here in Layton/Ogden that are willing to host get-togethers. And again, I understand that nobody wants to drive for an hour unless it’s really worth it. Sometimes, our meets are only a few hours long. But we would do our best to plan better and make sure to give you guys an all-day affair should you be willing to make the drive.
We are trying to meet at least once a week around here. I don’t expect you guys to drive from Logan every week when you have perfectly good competition up there, but we would be happy to have you all once or twice a month (or as often as you want).
Andy, I’d love to come out to SLC again soon. Let me know if you make something official. That way, we can plan a SLC trip if things don’t pan out around here.
Oh, when I get driving and everything, I’ll definitely want to come out to all those Ogden gatherings and SLC ranbats, etc. I’ve just got some hurdles to clear, and will be personally shocked if I clear them in time for Evo.
Logan gatherings are held up for the moment because of space, really.
My place: Too small, wouldn’t be able to host more than a few players.
Dave: Same deal, but he’s looking to find a new place so stay tuned.
Shane: Great house, but his family might be opposed to crowds/noise/swearing/etc.
Jimmy: Too new, doesn’t know any of us very well.
Tony: Never know if he’s going to be around, but I could talk to him.
That being said, if a small (5-6 people total) gathering would work - ie: you, Wall, Zack, and one of the other guys coming up here to run some bouts with Dave and I - then I’d be more than happy to host. On top of that, I still plan on booking a hotel up here for a big end-of-the-season tourney a couple weeks after Evo for anyone who cares to show up.
Logan’s been really quiet since the rest of the Utah community got this SFIV surge, but we take it very seriously that Logan is where the event that started the modern Utah community was held, so there are some proud guys up here with a lot of talent. We look forward to bringing everything we can to the Utah community in the long term and only regret that circumstances have kept us from being a major factor thus far.

The enclosure showed up today, but I don’t think I’ll see the 1TB HDD until Monday. Should have just done it in the first place, but will probably order a second HDD. The enclosure has 2 bays and supports raid so… And now I want a Hauppauge. Ugh, too much money for SFIV.
Yeah, you forget about my huge collection of tranny porn. I’d like to transfer that off my laptop onto the externals also. Spent good money on that enclosure so I feel like I need to use it to the full potential. Only $90 more I guess shrug.
