It’s come to my attention that most people that have SF4 prefer the PS3 version. In fact, most SF4 tournaments are run using the PS3 since it’s apparently easier. I don’t have a PS3; there’s not enough content for it that warrants it’s price tag currently, in my opinion. Therefore, no PS3 hardware such as arcade sticks or what-have-you. I DO have a 360, and a tournament edition stick for the 360…but, if I were to go to a tournament and all they had were PS3s…I’d be shit outta luck. Buying a TE stick for the PS3 is not one of my priorities, but I may have another way:
My TE stick is wired…but I wonder if it’d work with something like this. What do you guys think? Would something like this allow the usage of my 360 TE stick on a PS3?
Yo Andy or matty, Could you give me the phone number for P42. They had some questions about there tekken 4 machine and I had to do some research for them.
Let me help you out, that Cross Battle adapter has signficant input delays. I would not buy it. THE BIG tourneys are PS3; the reason why is for 2 specific reasons:
No RROD, ppl scared this is gonna happen during a match.
Bigger reason, most tourneys already have ps3 from prior Tekken 5 tournies and so stayed with ps3.
If you are going to EVO/Devastation which are really the only two tourneys close to SLC (unless you are a ballah and are going to NYC/Texas), then I’m sure ppl can lend out sticks for your part of the tourney. Not a big deal pal.
TL, post on www.protocol42.com, powder (the dude asking you questions) will answer there.
Phil is getting pretty sick with his Rog game; Ryu still hellah ugly though. If he plays it right, then he should finish top 5. But ya never know.
Casuals tonight, number is 801 556 5356, call before you come or txt me. My house is getting very cluttered these days. So don’t come to my house unless you hear a voice or txt saying “yeah, come over.” Sorry, my house, my rules. Unless you really want to clean my toilet.

P.S. I’m 95% I’m going to AZ tourney. Renzo has a wedding. Wade can’t come. Matty can’t come. Andrew hasn’t responded. Bobby/Johnny are a 75%. If you do come, the hotel is at least on me. Peace out.
ANNOUNCEMENT
PLEASE LOG ONTO PROTOCOL42.COM AND GIVE YOUR THANKS. THEY SAID WE LEFT SOME PIZZAS ON SOME TABLES, BUT OVERALL WE DID WELL. LET’S DO A BIT BETTER JOB NEXT TIME.
It’s something like 325 W 5000 S. I honestly don’t remember exactly, but it’s in Washington Terrace. If you’re trying to work out a ride, that should be good enough.
And to everyone bickering about “the new guy”, STFU already. He’s a nice kid, even if he is kind of arrogant about his game haha. I think I hundred-hand bitch-slapped the tone out of his mouth last night and made him realize he has miles and miles to go.
Fortunately, we’re past all that now, and he’s actually a friendly kid that really never meant to get any of you butthurt in the first place. So everyone go ahead and have a good laugh or two on account of his first posts here, and chalk it up to being nothing more than a kid who’s anxious to play some fighting games. Sure, he is definitely mouthy, but he can take as much as he dishes out, proving to be a good sport. Makes it even more fun to mop the floor with his Ryu.
PS: Thomas, get ready for some sumo-splash asshole all up in your face tonight, bitch. Be afraid. Be very afraid of the sumo stank. Bitch.
Thanks, I’ll see if I can get a ride.
haha I’ll lose for a while, I don’t mind. Give me a month or two and I promise the tables will turn. Also, last night I did lost the vast majority of the games, but they were pretty damn close too.
^^^ Pretty close? Haha, you must mean after I got past the point of being drunk. Or maybe even when I started picking characters I had never used before.
lol I also chose some characters I wasn’t familiar with, but it’s all good. Like I said, 2 months. I’ve been studying since last night too. I’ll beast all the ogden players with my 3 hours of sleep.
