Who are the top players that come to the ogden casuals? I wanna know so if I go tomorrow I know who to practice with.
Haha, there aren’t any top players in Ogden. No offense, Ogden guys… But our top players are definitely in Provo and SLC. Still, there are a few of us that are really making the effort. Just play everyone there. That’s the point of casuals.
I haven’t played the Logan guys, but I’m sure that they at least pose some kind of threat.

I don’t like pointing favorites. People say I have a mean Blanka but I don’t use him anymore because I’m determined to get good with Seth. Kyle has a mean Honda, and Wallace has a good Balrog. We all are trying to get good as fast we can with the small scene we have out here. You will have to play us all and get your own opinion of who is the best Ogden player.
Cody, if you see this message, I will be ready by 5:30. I hate saying 4:30-5 and I’m still getting ready so yeah. I will be bringing my TV with me so make sure you have room.
Well, I guess I will have to play you all. I’m pretty new to SFIV, but my Ryu isn’t bad.

That’s why I like the tournaments, though, to learn more about what makes me tick and to see good competition. I’m starting to think that when I’m having more fun AND warm up a little bit beforehand, I do better…I’ve been taking the ranbats too seriously. I don’t say hi much to people, or when I do, then I’m kinda quiet and don’t talk much…I mean, Katie and Nico (not Rico) were rooting for me and I don’t think I really said much back to them. (Sorry, guys.) I gotta check the attitude. Maybe I’ll do better in a team format?
Of course, then there’s the fact that EVERYONE is improving, and that doesn’t suck at all. That’s awesome. It’s making me try to refine Rose more and more, makes me want to watch all the Ranbat vids to study up…it just rocks. Always GG to everyone I play, even if I need a timeout to step away for a minute after a tough loss. All losses are tough for me, so I tend to step away a lot. 
It’s never personal, just so everyone knows. And I haven’t broken anything for a while, so that’s good, right?
And to New Thomas…welcome. Sounds like things have calmed down a bit; hope you can make it to the next ranbat, get to know some good people, and contribute however you can to help the scene. Lots of good people here, good people worth knowing. We have a lot of fun.

I’d gladly take peoples’ advice if they offered it. I’ll show up at the ranbats one of these nights if I do well or bad it doesn’t matter to me. It’s just to have fun. Don’t get mad over nothing. lol
