Hello everyone,
I’d like to know if it’s possible to learn basics such as Option Select, Footsies and others as well for SFV by playing older games from the saga. However, I wouldn’t be able to play online on USF4 but I could on 3rd strike so, which of these is better for learning the basics? Thanks in advance for your help.
Both are not SFV and both teach you different aspects of fighting games but both won’t teach you SFV.
Learning a fighting game is never bad.
Gives you a method when learning a new one and makes you think about games you already know from a new perspective.
3rd is probably closer to SFV since it shares some systems (lack of HKD, backtech every knockdown, normal priority system, etc.).
