…that a burn on EndLeSS8?
I thought videos exclusively were for the Video Forum.
This was a video + explanation.
Oh well, my bad x2 on this thread.
Yeah i get confused sometimes too, but to stay safe, I always post vid links here.

Well I guess it can’t be helped.

There’s a reason for that. See: The Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle.

Actually superposition is one of the mainstays of quantum mechanics. It’s not even debatable. A singular article can be many places at once without changing its properties.

Elaborate please? I don’t see how the very foundation that reality is based upon can not be intrinsic to everyday life. Quantum mechanics doesn’t cater to the standard rules governing traditional logic, as shown earlier. In fact, pretty much everything in the quantum universe is a logically fallacy.
I had a similar discussion with my brother a few years ago.
I agree with you to a point, but we are limited by our PHYSICAL BIOLOGICAL LIMITS.
For example, a black guy would be generally taller than an asian guy, and the black guy will be easier to have a natural build.
My example: My mom is like 5’3" and my dad is like 5’5". I’m 5’7.
Even with all of the alternate realities and thousands of versions of me, I will NEVER have a version that is 7feet tall.
It’s not in my genetics and my geneology doesn’t have a history of giganticism.
So in other words, we are limited by our choices, but the uppermost limit is biological (in this case scenario).
However, alternate version realities of me would be definitely good at other things. Like, if I grew up and trained EXCLUSIVELY on F1 racing, my alternate reality self would be as good as Michael Shumacher.
That is due to training.
Except that other versions of ourselves diverging at different points (say, conception) have different quantum choices made on the atomic level. In another eality there could be a version of yourself who is more muscular, taller, even a different gender.
Though versions of you whom diverge from more recent versions of the You we know now in this string have much less available divergences, there is stillan entire world of variables to concider. It is easier to become a famous race car driver when you have more money or meet and know other drivers. It also matters whether you choose to practice or go get a beer. Or even (sing SF again) some random element of a game. In ST many elements are random. Damage, dizzy, who throws who if timed at identicle moments. If two versions of you play a game of ST against someone and each play exactly the same way, the outcome would still be different due to the random elements. Some set of matches you lost at some point 3 years ago could have disuaded you from putting a certain level of effort into the game.
But that’s what I mean by physical biological limits.
Alternate reality versions of me, might of been taller or more muscular, or fatter, or thinner, or a girl, or whatever. However, we are still bound by our geneology. Like there is a cap on the limiter; you can only fill a 20L bottle with 20L of water.
2 points: No matter how much training I do, I cannot jump 10 feet in the air. It’s not humanly possible, and it’s not possible for my muscular build/frame.
A person more athletically gifted at jumping could jump higher than me, but we are bound by our limits (game boundaries/ physical boundaries)
Back to the point about different versions of me: Let’s say I was born in Hong Kong, and I stayed there. Because protein isn’t as readily available there compared to North American, the Hong Kong version of me would of been more likely to be thinner and short. I would probably be 5’5", which is shorter than how tall I am now.
Let’s say that another version of me was born to my parents who are extremely wealthy living in the United States. Let’s say that I decide to become a boxer or something. I would be training all day, however, I STILL would be limited by my parents geneology at their physical limit.
I would be probably 6 feet tall, but again, I would not be 7 feet tall, because of the limits of my parents.
Let’s take another version of me, who was adopted by parents in Africa. For the sake of discussion, let’s say that I am extremely poor. Limited by my geneology, I would probably be 5’2" tall, which is shorter than my mom.
There is a limit to how far training/money/food can make, because of my genetic makeup.
Randomness works in video games, because there must be a deciding factor. For example, I entered EVO 2005. I’m sure there was an alternate reality, in which ALL of the players at EVO had terrible stomach problems that day, and I won EVO because I was the only one who showed up. That is highly unlikely, but that is a random universe.
I hope I’m still making sense.
