Well I use a Pad and alot of the times I have trouble doing :qcb: properly or for special when I need it.
But, :qcf: I never seem to mess up, is there something i’m doing wrong? Or is it just the design of controllers?
Practice makes perfect. I don’t really like playing on pad but I can hit most of the same stuff on it as I can on a stick… Just practice.
Actually I have this same problem. If I do it like I do in just about any other game, I tend to get mistakes (Ibuki cross-over jump turning into neckbreaker, spin kicks turning into stomp face kicks, and even sometimes DP which makes no sense). I also sometimes get a DP EX when I try to do Ultra sometimes.
What seems to work is slowing down the inputs and if you’re buffering/comboing, to make sure the pad returns to neutral to ensure you get what you want.
I’d say…
Are you using a fight pad? If not, I’d say give it a try. I used to play using the regular 360 controller and it was complete garbage. Maybe that helps.
Yeah i’m using a fightpad.
Why don’t you go into training mode, turn on the input display, and see what the game “thinks” you’re pressing?
practice on both sides.
Most people find QC’s easier in one direction than the other. Like SSblanka said, “practice”.
check your inputs in training focus on getting the moment fluid I think your maybe missing one your your :d: inputs
I’ll try this out.
use the analog stick, i know it sounds scrubby but it works for some people who use pads.
