She’s not cheap in any way. Tons of Omega character are just straight up cheap andf in your face with crazy stuff where we can only try to survive to get 2 meters while not even having our best USF4 tools ( reliable ex fuki / axekick )
It’s just not worth it.
ex shikiri is stupid! there was no need to add a different way of canceling when they could have just given the regular cancel the frame advantage from the start. it’s like you need meter to enter omega mode/tendan reki
I’ll be the first second guy to come out and say it: Omega Makoto sucks.
Did another extended set, this time against Omega Ryu. Without reliable IATs to help clear fireballs, create corner juggles, convert into huge damage on mix ups, it’s such a damn struggle. EX Fukiage doesn’t work on Ryu so all of your punishes are gimped again. Ultra has spoiled the crap out of me with 400 damage punishes into resets and general shenanigans. We ended up switching back to Ultra halfway through the set because I couldn’t deal anymore.
Is she the only one that’s useless in Omega or are there others? Please tell me we aren’t the only ones.
Yeah there is some really bad Omega characters, don’t worry.
Omega Yun is so freaking useless it’s kinda scary. They changed LP Lunge into something really useless and gave him new specials that are just a worst version of what he has but can be fadc for combos lol
Apparently Omega Gen is really meh outside of the infinite too. Bunch of others I imeagine but I didn’t bother to check.
I Just play Omega Chun Li when people want to play that mode, it’s really simple and really fun.
