USF4 - Walk forward Uppercut instead of Fireball

Hi there,

I recently picked up USF4 and I’ve been having this execution problem pretty much since the beginning.
How do I walk forward and throw a fireball without an uppercut coming out?
Do I have to let the joystick snap back into neutral and then input the fireball motion?
I’ve spend quite some time in practice mode, but I’m really uncertain how this is supposed to work.

Start from down+back instead of just down when you do the fireball motion.
