Yeah it’s a little annoying, around top 128ish it gets to what I like to call the “gauntlet” stage where all of the top players start dropping like flies and it’s always off stream.

Sako is a shock to me, with his kid I expected him to be really out of touch with the game but I’m really glad he’s playing well. Wanted to see more of Chris T on stream because he was playing out of his mind also.
I also find bo3 in this top 256 a bit questionable.
With this kind of talent at Evo this year bo3 seems more like a coin toss and less about finding out who are the best players today.
I feel bad for Gachikun, he’s missed all these combos that would have turned things around

FT3 in a 2000+ man bracket would be impossible to run in one day. It sucks but what can you do? Only way would be to have less games at EVO and that just wouldn’t be very fair.

Yeah a lot more players than you would expect are still in it. Most haven’t even made it to top 32 yet.
Man Kyotea was so focussed on his ground game that Daigo could jump at him at will. Great set though.
And yeah I get the time restrictions of Evo, just saying it’s a bit sad.
