Snake Eyez is so good. He rarely even threw any fbs as E.Ryu and pretty much played the match like a gief player. He was constantly walking forward and managed to block every fb while doing so, really impressive E.Ryu.
Come on guys stop. His e. ryu was mediocre at best. Bonchan is so used to high level tech that he fell for the most basic stuff of fireball fadc on block (no confirm) and cr.hp frame traps hahaha
It’s not all about the tech he was doing. Just watching how he was dealing with the ground game was impressive. His jump ins and focus through fireballs were all perfect. You could really see the Gief in his E.Ryu and how much playing Gief gave him the skills to deal with the fireballs.
The hate in you is strong. As previously stated, Snake played it like he was Zangief. Those shenanigans with FB FADC worked perfectly as Bonchan wasn’t able to deal with them. And he hit his one frames pretty consistently too. Hell, I’m pretty sure he stunned him in both games to end the rounds. The final round of the latter game for sure.
His E Ryu is still rough as far as optimal combos go, however his groundgame and the way he applied pressure was all very solid and opened bonchan mostly with just pure fundamentals.
Anyway, Kazunoko honoring the stereotype he has of being random and winning with wakeup Ultra…lol.
I still can’t believe Bonchan lost the way he lost. That shit looked so stupid.
Aside from that, I really hope to see SnakEyez use Evil Ryu more often. I remember when he was using Oni and doing quite well, but it seems like he ditched him for Evil Ryu instead. I can see him doing great things with Evil Ryu as long as he plays him consistently. Still salty Filipinoman lost to that wakeup ultra…
Kazunoko is one of my favorite players to watch, i was joking when i made that statement because everyone insists that Kazunoko is random, even the commentators. However, obviousely Kazunoko isn’t one to shy away for taking HUGE gambles.
