Does Gief need to be better at this point? Seems like he has what he needs.
He does (maybe they could buff his focus attack range vertically).
I’m worried that they’ll take it away.
If we’re talking about conservative changes, then I would like to see all of his Green Hand (except EX) to be -1 on hit and buffing his FA and RFA hitbox to hit all crouching characters. Would probably be top 10 indisputably with these changes.
What will buffing his green hand in that way do for him?
For LP green hand specifically, it would allow his footsies to be even better since he would not be able to be punished by anything but 1F startup moves and his pressure after footsie conversions would be much better at -1 instead of -2. For MP and HP green hand it would allow him to get more damage under specific situations without being punished (MP and HP green hand are -6/-7 ON HIT). Would also allow him to use them more during footsies since the risk/reward would be much better.
I just started playing Gief and these are my biggest gripes about the character atm.
I literally wanted to jump through my monitor to punch Sanford in the face for not punishing all those unsafe ground pounds that Du was doing with DeCrappy. All he had to do was grab them, my god!

Ryan was so confused in grand finals though, huh…
Most of Ryan’s characters are fireball orientated, I think Rose makes him uncomfortable in this version.
Someone said Yonzai is the best in Finland, is it true?
Why doesn’t Ryan just learn a pocket Yun for the Rose matchup though? He already dabbled with him, so I don’t see a reason not to just use it for counterpick.
He has a pocket Yun. God knows why he doesn’t use him. He goes for it against Viper/Ibuki/Akuma. Maybe lacks the matchup experience… Despite what people think, that matchup is free if you’re not familiar with it.

Pretty Sako confirmed best Elena FRAY! Actually any character Sako plays, he becomes the best with that character. The man started playing Elena for a week and made top 8 at Evo. Sako is just too good!
