Ahh the OG Balrog from Vanilla arcade? Maeda taison and Aojiru guile were my favorites
Yessss, and Pamyu too! Maeda was the aggressive one with great reactions, would ultra through fireballs all the time, very similar to PR Balrog imo. Aojiru was the turtle style Balrog, he would just get a lead and sit on it. Pamyu was somewhere in between, he had very good spacing with Rog’s s.hk.
I used to crack out on Japanese arcade videos in the vanilla days, great times. Watching XBL replay uploads just isn’t the same.
