Infiltration is radically rebranding himself from tier-whore mechanics abuser to low-tier god and overall hilarious guy while still winning consistently.
The guy is something else.
Having watched him play extensively, I’m not that surprised how he’s able to beat top players with various characters. His fundamentals and reaction speed along with his execution is what makes him so ridiculous. The biggest surprise for me is how his attitude radically changed. I don’t want to throw Laugh under the bus here but even though 2012 Infiltration was his prime, it just seemed like he was there in it just for the money. Unapproachable along with the language barrier just made him look like he had a snobbish attitude. Even though his English hasn’t gotten all that much better, he seemed to come out of his shell. LIKE HE ACTUALLY ENJOYS PLAYING THE GAME, instead of looking constipated for that victory. Seriously, when I saw him pop off during his match against K-brad on ESGN, I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Infiltration actually popped off and it was hilarious! If only K-brad could teach him his GDLK trash talk it would be awesome 
PS: Maybe he lacked the people interaction skill, maybe it was his unease with different culture or the obvious language barrier but that still doesn’t justify Mike Watson for calling him a “social retard” on stream. I get that Watson was salty because apparently some random dudes who drove for hours couldn’t get casual matches with him etc… He should understand that Infiltration makes a living right now from this game, part of the reason why a lot of players can’t beat him is because they can’t get to play him a lot. Could he have done the casual and be cool about it? Sure. Just don’t hate on the dude if he says no. It’s not like he promised to play casuals and then reneged on it, he probably didn’t know people would drive hours to play him. Calling him retarded on stream from a prominent member of the FGC is just terrible, as a business owner it’s a retarded.
Didn’t watch yesterdays SFIV matches, who did Infiltration use? Anyways he became my 2nd favorite SFIV player (after Sako) when he picked Chun Li in Socal regionals. So…Infiltration can beat your ass with Akuma, Ryu, Gouken, Oni, Hakan, or Chun Li. Any I’m forgetting? Maybe he should just do random select for a whole tournament.

It’s marvel stuff so I don’t really know much, but I dislike this kind of stick stuff.
Rewiring the select button for the plink trick is already on the limit, but this go a bit far and should be illegal.
But again, it’s a bit awkward, because it’s not really a cheat macro. It’s just like having a second joystick in a form of hitboxes directional buttons.
does marvel (at the in-game button config screen) allow you to map jump back and jump forward to your buttons? if yes, its legal. if not, its illegal
SFIV doesn’t let you map select/back to any buttons and select-wiring is still prevalent.
If this is banned, select-wiring should be too.
Infiltration was always liked, however even getting one character to elite level is something most will never come close to. However to do that with multiple characters, that is what makes him stand out (and a few others like Sako). He also excels at fundamentals, spacing, footsies…those things that usually carry you far in any fighter and in any time period, rather than shenanigans or mashing.

It helps with plinking, select is considered the lowest valued command in the game.

Well I don’t know about the early days before his reign of terror in AE 2012, and I didn’t know he rubbed some people the wrong way cause he was too serious or whatever. A lot of people dislike the character of Akuma, however I think Infiltration as a player was always greatly respected and liked.
