The metagame isn´t favourable for Rog, in both ways. Also has problems to open up characters, who can sit back on a lifelead, since his overhead is a bit slow and unsafe. Lacking a command grab is also quite problematic for him. So in other words, if he wants to get good damage, then he has play more risky. Headbutt has no FADC. His mixup game is … meh. Not somebody, who gets huge payoff after vortex setups.
Don´t get me wrong, he is really solid and good stuff, just never felt it does reward him really well.

The only reason I watched this tournament was in order to see ChrisG lose.
This whole tournament was a huge waste of my time.
Stop hating on Chris G. The guy beat Evo champ Flocker, PR Rog, and 6-0 FChamp aka Mr. Choke to take umvc3.
Then he beats Evo champ Xian and then goes on to win 6 straight against Justin in AE after being down 2 games.

So why does everyone hate ChrisG, is he a prick IRL or something? He uses a fair character (Sakura), and does well.

I expected him to lose at KOF.
I wanted to see him lose at the games he’s really good at.

Why is it that Tom Brady only plays and comments on the worst games available at the moment?
If you’re a noob and want to know what games to avoid, you just have to ask Tom Brady what his favorite games are at the moment, and stay the fuck away from them.
I wouldn’t call Sakura “Fair” She has quite the bunch of bullshit and plays pretty derp.
He is a whiny bitch that complains all the time and blames PS3 lag / the gods for every loss
He plays MorriDoom in Marvel and wins everything
He is known for fucking around in Grand Finals (either due to splitting Pot or because he believes he’s gonna lose anyways, eg some older KoF tournies vs Bala)
He’s a general dork in a lot of things (feels entitled to all the things, wants $$$ in the FGC but doesn’t do anything for it, etc)

EVO is tough shit and you need a bit of luck to get through to grand finals.
You can perform all year and get your shitty day on EVO, or just freak out because you feel like the whole fucking world is watching you.
I still feel Daigo is the best Street Fighter player ever and today, even though he didn’t win EVO last 2 years.
Btw. I don’t hate ChrisG I just like to see him lose because he cares so much.
