My bad, you’re right, I forgot the original was DXT5 and I edited it to be a DXT1 for my mod (I don’t remember why, maybe I had a problem with the Juzu o_O).
If editing the alpha doesn’t work while saving as a DXT5, the problem could come from the emm file: I dunno if it’s the problem but I had issues with some materials by just adding “alphatest” at the end. You may need to edit the Juzu with another object’s full material properties list that uses alphatest (something that you know is working like the hair’s or mustache’s ones, you don’t care from which object it comes, it will be invisible).
If it doesn’t work then that would explain why I used a DXT1 (I’m not sure of that).

Based on Irving’s idea of using the glowing “Emi” material (from Oni) on Makoto instead of her “red skin” during super (Saint Makoto), I made this color mode for her outfit #2:
Kuruoshiki Makoto (glowing tattoos, eyes and Oni’s kanji in her back during Super) : http://www.mediafire.com/?dy6xjds8y0cdpz2

(replaces 1st color, works with outfit #2 original model and color files not included)

I ported my Shaolin Gouken mod from Vanilla SF4 and I used a DXT5 this time, the Juzu is invisible by simply adding “alphatest” in place of “BrushA” in the materials and a black alpha on the texture dds (I still don’t remember why I used a DXT1 in Vanilla… o_O)

The DXT1 version is already on the wiki, I uploaded the DXT5 one so you could compare with your mod (no real differences between my 2 versions besides the size of the files) : Shaolin Gouken AE (outfit #1 color mod) : http://www.mediafire.com/?46jpjbhf49pqpn5

I think your issue is in the GKI_01_01.obj.emm so you should try mine with your GKI_01_01.col.emb to see if the juzu goes invisible
