DLC outfit slots go up to 8 in the game files… be nice if we could unlock that
Really?is it so easy?because when I open the edited KEN_02.obj.emo, haircut seems the original one, no trace of editing…
It’s in many files, the one I extracted it from was dlc/03_character/ui/network_mode/my_ch_advanced_menu.emz
You can use the one I provided, it’s the exact same untouched dds.
I like the way you edited Ibuki’s top to override the issue of the hole in her back.
Could anyone make this Character Screen compatible to AE?
I copied it to Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition\resource\ui\chara_select\chara
Renamed it, but it doesnt work

reassembled BGMs for Training Stage… if you want to get rid of the ‘funky’ upbeat BGM and get some epic sound environment for your training:

Hi
I have a problem with the glow effects. I added a glow effect to a part of a character and in the training stage it works perfect.
If i go to another stage = no glow on this part anymore .
I dont think it is my computer because i have all options on high, res. to 1920x1200 etc. (no anti-aliasing), average FPS = 96
Any clue ?
edit:
I tested all stages with the effect, only in Training Stage, Sky Scraper, Africa,Korea,Small Airfield and Pich Black Jungle it works.
I’ve put in all the original vanilla arcade blocking/fireball/armor break sounds into the battle csb file, but for some reason, when I go back and re-pack the csb and save, it causes other sound fx to happen. For example, when I test out the new csb, my l. punch has a different sound, also things like to sound for super/ultra exec, if two fireballs cancel each other, the stun birdies start chirping. Anyone know what may be causing this? I’m saving the aax files exactly the same name being used in AE, but the files are coming from the taito folder. The authentic arcade files are also aax, so I’m just totally confused as to what’s going on here. I think it happens when using the csb packer 1.1. Anyone have any ideas?
@supdawg79
Name isn’t a issue when repacking csb, the order is.
Put numbers at the beginning of the aax files names, to be sure they are in the exact same order in your folder as in the original csb, before you repack them.
I use the SFIVAM tool from goshanes (last update): Modding SSF4AE for PC (NO DLC UNLOCKS!)
@Cers
Yeah glowing and reflection may have a different effects depending on the stages (because of their background colors, sources of lightning, etc…)
I was copying the file names exactly as AE files showed (numbers). I now have a proper working csb file for sounds if anyone wants it. Marrying the old arcade sounds to AE is awesome! If only someone could source the actual AE cabinet into, instead of the same SSFIV intro for PC, I’d be set
What should I use to record video of the gameplay so I can post up?
Cool. Good luck.
Yeah I’m interested in this, if you could post the arcade soundfiles to megaupload or something…
(You can capture games with fraps)
I think my Battle Damage Makoto is complete now.

EDIT: Also Updated the Bouip Makoto Gi with reflectiveness. Click HERE for that one.
Can someone make a lower-quality version of the character textures for not-so-good computers? Just wondering if it would work and it’d have the desired effect. I would test it right now but I can’t sadly
That would take a lot of work, a cheap video card is enough to run the game on lowest settings and resolutions.
texture size isn’t really the problem, either. If you’ve already got everything turned down to minimum and still can’t get good framerates, your cpu is probably the bigger issue.
@Elaphe
Using model edits requires replacing/overwriting one of the original models. You can’t just assign them to a color slot because they’re not colors, they’re models. The only way to choose different models from the character select screen is to buy the DLC packs to unlock the slots and then replace the originals with mods.
@Trife88
Your new Juri looks great, man. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with. I’m happy to help make some more high-res ones for you, I just need to know if that E. Ryu I made worked out or not.
I didn’t get the Evil Ryu Hi-Res where is it?
Edit: You mean the cos file with Evil Ryu’s default outfit? I don’t think I can use that for his Alt 1. I need Evil Ryu’s Alt 1, Cammys Alt 1 or 2, Juris Alt 1 or 2…
Hey, can anybody help me with my current issue? I’m a nub at remodeling, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I got most of what I want so far, but I’m stuck on Juri’s chest. No matter what I do, parts of that pink spider thing always show up. I’ve even painted the whole DDS file a single color and it continues to show up. Is there some other way I have to go through to get rid of it?
(I did the single-color thing with both DDS files she has, so I don’t know what else to do!)
I know this is probably lame looking, but I would still love it if I could nab some help. >w<;
@AlietteFaye
Most likely it’s a shine that’s put on by the OBJ.EMM file. All you’d have to really do is change it using either Hex or Matedit.
someone should make juri’s feet smaller
Honestly, I think they should be bigger, lol
