Hi Guys! I’m new here. I have a new mod for SSF4 AE. I call it “Bondage Sakura”.
See: http://rmykelz.deviantart.com/art/Bondage-Sakura-280954782

Soon I will give reference) Sloth, thank you to you. due to you this work turned out for me)
(I decolorized trousers and cleaned a picture with to the bottom. a bandage and strap is added)

I stood a failure…o_O a strap moves those correctly. I do not know how to decide his problem. animation of strap moves as a body (stomach) a strap floats separately.

Sloth, you would not make attempt do Geki in place of Guy? :tup:
info:

I was trying to make a Juri school girl. First I’ve swaped her body to Ibuki model 2 and it was perfect when used as Ibuki. Then I’ve swaped all this Ibuki-Juri model to JRI’s folder and I faced a monkey face. Then I tried to use the monkey fix tool, but it does not solve my problem. Someone know how to solve this problem?

@art3d
does she have monkeyface all of the time? does it fix itself during ultras after using the monkey fix tool?

If I copy the IBK.fce.ema, rename and put into JRI folder as JRI.fce.ema, she will have monkey face during the ultras only, if I use JRI.fce.ema original, she will have monkey face all the time. I would like to make the mod without having to use the renamed IBK.fce.ema file (one less thing to make backup).

the Monkey Fix tool will fix her face during the cinematics and the renamed/replaced fce.ema will fix it during normal play.

Is there a easy way to fix the monkey face without replacing the fce.ema file, like Sloth did with Chun-Ruy (that doesn’t replace the CNL.fce.ema) or, to do this, will it demand me a lot of complex hex editing and facial bone resizing?

WOW looks great cant wait for it !!!

@art3d
In sloth86’s case, I believe he did things opposite to your method. That is, instead of putting the target character’s head on the other character’s body, he put the other character’s body (clothes, really in his case) over the target’s body. This matters for bone numbering/naming and assignment to the skeleton, which differs among characters. If everything looks fine with Ibuki’s moveset, you could try swapping in Ibuki’s skeleton into what you have done already and see if that helps (however, this doesn’t solve your desire to reduce the number of files that need to be backed up).

Conversely, you could swap ibuki’s body onto Juri’s obj.emo and then toggle off the redundant original parts (that is, everything but her head).

sloth86, if I’ve gotten anything wrong here, feel free to chime in.

@art3rd
If you’re just doing a simple file swap where you just copy files from one character folder to another, then you still need to swap in fce.ema as well to fix the face. Monkeyfix fixes the face during ultras and intros but may also cause crashes in arcade mode or online play from my experience.

If you want to do what i did for my Chun-Li -Ryu mod, it’s a completely different technique. Here i move only Ryu’s obj.emo file into CNL folder, edit it so all the bone position match Chun-Li’s skeleton, then raw dump all the Chun-Li’s EMG files i want, then use EMGSWAP to swap in these EMGs into the obj.emo. The purpose of doing this is that I want the bones to animate the headband and belt and everything Ryu has, but at the same time i lose the bones to animate Chun-Li’s ribbons, breasts, extra legs during lightning kick, etc. I will release the skeleton editing tools soon…I just need to compile.

There will be two tools, one to copy bone positions from one .emo to another for bones that are found in both. I use this to copy bone positions from CNL to RYU obj.emo. THe other will import bone positions from skeleton in SMD format into an EMO file. I then use this to move the bones for headband, belt, shirt, etc.

@roki
Not sure what you mean…“a strap moves as a body a strap floats separatey” ?

ah, thanks for clarifying sloth86 :slight_smile:

Thanks for the attention. I’ve tried to use what Sloth have explained, first I’ve injected all that I wanted into Ibuki .obj.emo, without the editing of bone position, only a small adjustment into the clothes, but, first I tested in Ibuki folder to see if I had committed some mistake or it would cause a crash, and there it looked ok - missed her horns and hair wick bones only. Then, puting the .obj.emo into JRI folder, without the .bsr was a mistake, so, whith the .bsr, I’ve faced the monkey face.

Thanks for the attention and the explanation. So, it’s a matter of time for this mod become reality, with another great tool of sloth86, probably I’ll be able to solve the problem.

Tools are here

SkeletonSwap: http://www.mediafire.com/?5da1wsojafr2be4
First pick the EMO file with skeleton with the bone positions you want, then pick the EMO file you want the skeleton bone positions injected into. Then It will save a new file named something-newskeleton.emo. So for example I chose CNL emo then RYU emo, then move all the EMGs i want into the RYU emo, then rename RYU emo file to CNL and move it into CNL folder. This should fix monkey face because all the face bones will be lines up properly .

SMDSkel2EMOSkel http://www.mediafire.com/?9ch5oqt12tpfv8v
Use blender or whatever 3d program you use to edit and move around bones, you just can’t add or rename bones (if you do those bones just won’t be recognized by the tool.) Then export as SMD…doesn’t matter if it’s skeleton by itself or if it’s any mesh. Then you can use this to inject your edited skeleton SMD into an EMO file. For example, I had to move the headband, resize and reshape the shirt, resized the belt mesh to fit Chun-Li, so then i also had to move the bones associated with those clothing articles so they line up correctly. (Note: moving around bones Leg1, Leg2, Arm1, Arm2 right or left may cuase standing animation issues.)

Awesome. Thanks again for sharing all of your tools with us :smiley:

thanks sloth86 now i can finish my batman and strider hiryu skins for guy.

I have a question how do you get emg files to work that come on during intros and endings example intros like c.viper cell phone ,Guy trash can kick, and endings like where ibuki removes her mask and hold 2 kunai in her hand
