More Softimage coolness

I wrote a tool to convert SF4 models to .XSI. So far arms and legs IK seem to work. Anyone know how many IK chains is there supposed to be in a SF4 character? Looking at skeleton node names for roots and effectors, as far as i can tell there are only 4 IK chains, one for each arm and leg… I could be wrong, there are a bunch of nodes that I don’t know what they are for: Heel, Tiptoe, HEN at the head , RHN and LHN at the hands, RFN LFN at the feet, WAN at the waist… There are no vertices assigned to them or anything and they have no child nodes.

Here’s IK at work. Me moving the leg effector around and the leg bending accordingly:

Trying to figure out how to make non-IK chains for waist>stomach>chest and neck>head and for the fingers but i thikn softimage requires everything to be IK by default.

The Heel node could be for rotating the foot with the pivot point being at the back of the heel and the Tiptoe node could be for rotating the foot with the pivot being at the front of the toes. That would be my guess but could be wrong.

Thats what i thought at first, but no vertices on the feet are assigned to those nodes and there’s only 1 heel node and 1 tiptoe node at the center between each feet, not one for each foot.

I’m trying to figure out softimage myself… definitely seems more geared toward character creation which is awesome. Dunno if i’ll ever write anything to import things back into the game, i just thought it would be cool to export models out and being able animate them.

Another mod fix. Also changed the blue costume in color slot 4 to her alt color scheme from Dissidia.

PS: stopped working on pregnant Sakura. I dont think it’s responsible to be fighting while pregnant.
