Hey man, I just tried to give it a shot and it didn’t work out too smoothly for me. It didn’t work at all actually. I tried swapping it out using the EMG Swapper tool by sloth but just crashed. I had this same error when I was trying to put the hair into her sun dress costume. As of right now I’m clueless :\
On a related note, where exactly did you find this mod in the first place? I wanna get the color set pictured here but I can’t find it anywhere.

Its a free 3d applications program easy to use that allows you to make your own 3d human body model. Its very simulator to those wrestling create a player modes. Once your done with your model you can export it into blender and assign in it to the bones of the character you want.

Well i haven’t done anything mod related in the past few weeks. Initially i wanted to do something new by figuring out how to import clothing bones from one character to another, but I got stuck trying to figure out .bsr files. Meanwhile i just saw that article on the production of SF4, so I got Softimage mod tool and figured it would be cool if I could i could convert game files to XSI. So far can only extract the mesh along with ambient occlusion:

Still trying to figure out rigging in XSI and how SF4 uses it. It’s gonna be a more accurate conversion than SMD because roots and effectors of bone chains actually make sense in XSI. If anyone can find more articles the production of SF4 it would probably help. Thanks!
AFAIK, that recent japanese-language article and this fluffy PR piece are the only development articles floating around. There was a part 2 to the japanese article, but it focused mostly on shaders instead of models.

The same problems are there. I done all I can, if any body out there wants to try and fix it be my guess.If you can fix it, all credit goes to you. Augh if want to take a crack at it now is the time. Sloth 86 maybe you might want to give it a try. He comes with 10 colors, there all the same colors and I made his normal maps using crazybump.

That Kim skin for Juri is really nice, but I cannot stand that girl’s (default) hair. I have been able to replace her hair in other skins without any issues but this one has her hair connected to her head and most every other facet is conjoined. Is there a simple way to split up the resources again? if not, would someone do me a huge favor and give her something more conventional?
Also is there a tool I can use to remove ibuki’s mask in some costumes and keep it in others? I’d like to have a set of her costume 1 mods with the mask and without the mask so i can pick either one without having to switch anything out. there aren’t enough Cos1 mods that I like to make a full set of 10 colors anyway.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Open her model in Asset Explorer and use Toggle Visibility on the 3 mask items. They’re named in caps as GEM or something similar. That would globally disable the mask through all colors of a costume/model.
If you wanted some colors with the mask and some without, across the same costume, you’d want to locate the mask in the texture file for the colors you want maskless (it’s pretty obvious when looking at the texture, hint it looks like a mask), and just blank that area to fully transparent.
