Hi, I have a question about something I was a bit curious of, is it possible to remove the blur effects from the character models?
Um, Options > Graphics Settings > Motion Blur?
That option does not remove the blur completely.

There isn’t any sarcasm. When I make snarky replies they generally don’t even get detected, that’s what makes them such. You are aware people pretty frequently post questions like “Is there any mod to remove the HUD?”, which is also a basic screen setup option, right? In a ton of cases people haven’t even checked if the option is there, so first thing to do is usually make them aware there is an option.
Blurs aren’t a part of the models, textures, or shaders. If you want to kill them completely rather than just tune them down, nfc where you’d find such vfx. They seem to be “true” dynamic blurs rather than simple particle effects, so it could be kinda tricky.
Model swapping quick face fix for intro, win, and ultra animations:
If you know about model swapping where you switch one character model for another by swapping EMO, EMG, BSR, etc files into another character’s folder… As you probably already know, you can fix most of the messed up “monkey face” syndrome by also swapping in the .fce.ema file, but this won’t work for intro, win, and ultra animations. Why? Because face animations for those are found in the obj.ema, not fce.ema file. So to fix this, open the obj.ema file of the character you’re swapping into in a hex editor, replace all “Face” text to “XXXX” or any other four character word. This will kill all face animations for intros, win, and ultras.

*note for AE characters, files are found in 2 folders instead of just one. For Yun it’s:
\dlc\03_character\battle\chara\YUN
and
\dlc\03_character_free\battle\chara\YUN
EDIT: I just realized this also kills all other face animations while playing… DOH!

Use my new tool: MonkeyFix. Took me a couple hours to write this today. I haven’t figured out EMA files completely, but i know enough to know where the bone references.

To model swap, swap in all obj.emb, obj.emm, obj.emo, nml.emb, shd.emo and fce.ema files. Then use the tool on the original .obj.ema and uc1.ema and uc2.ema
This should fix all monkey faces from intro, ultras, and victory animations while leaving all other face animations intact.

Sorry, I just assumed. I appreciate the info as well, I guess I should’ve mentioned earlier that this game isn’t installed on my PC, but rather a friend’s so I’m not really able to dig into the game as much as I would like to.
