I’m having trouble toggling visibility on some EMG objects from the stages, when i try to toggle them off it says “unknown previous data value” any way to fix this?
Wow great skins, never knew they existed. How do I use .emz files? Does not work when I copy to to SGT folder.
@Zenou
Those are vanilla SF4 files. You’ll have to “convert” them for AE (see the tutorial linked from the first post of this thread). In short, you just open it in the Asset Explorer and dump the sub-files.
@yagami777
those look great, man! thanks for sharing them.
need more help, i tried doing the ultra light stage and did as doshu said but when i go inject doesn’t work:
"open both the original and the new dds file into your hex editor, and do the following :
- on the original file : Ctrl-A ; End ; Ctrl-E ; choose 2EE080 ; Ctrl-C
- on the new file : Ctrl-A ; End ; Ctrl-V ; Ctrl-S"
What does he mean by choose i can only input something start and end… ???
I’m not really sure what he’s doing there in the tutorial, but you can only inject images that are the exactly same size in both resolution and filesize. If the resolution is ok, you’ll need to make sure you’re saving it in the correct DDS compression format, which you can find by opening the original image in Nvidia’s Windows Texture Viewer program. I think for Recycler’s training stage template (the one doshu used for his ULSM stages), you’ll need to use ARGB 8888 for the compression format.
What about my other problem-
“I’m having trouble toggling visibility on some EMG objects from the stages, when i try to toggle them off it says “unknown previous data value” any way to fix this?”
no clue on that one. sorry.
ugh, all these amazing Juri mods makes you realise how stupid the “horns” idea was in the first place. She should never have had those stupid horns to begin with. Remove the horns and the character becomes 300% better. Oh, and nice work guys!
but she is evil, she needs horns!
I have a problem trying to remove the rings shadows of Chun-Li. The tutorial says: "We Need to ‘Save As …’ and choose the bitmap (BMP) format, With OS / 2 compatibility, 24-bit and no compression. ". But it is a layer, do not give me option to save to BMP…
@somebody2978
If you have any layers (which you shouldn’t if you followed the tutorial exactly; did you make a new layer for the painting step?) you need to flatten the image first and then it should let you choose BMP.
@mugenlove100
I don’t recall sensibeat making any tutorials for *.obj.emm files. Do you mean alekqz’s material swap tutorial?
The tutorial does not say we have to flatten the layer, I thought I had to look like the original. I’ll try…
It worked :). Also must be set to “RGB color mode”, otherwise it will not give option to save to BMP. Thanks.
was there a tutorial where you can rebuild the material from scratch
