lol are you kidding? anyone i play these days that’s half decent at the game knows about it and goes straight to training stage. it’s not an exaggeration at all. go play the diner stage, then training stage against the same opponent and tell me you can’t tell the difference.
the ps3 version is nowhere near as bad. it’s something to do with the ps4 port. it gets to the point where you can’t even do light to medium links with someone like cammy. to be honest i don’t know why i’m even arguing with you about it because if you genuinely can’t tell then that pretty much says it all.
Guys I’m having some SERIOUS issues. Starting yesterday USFIV has been running SUPER slow right from the loading screen…I’m talking lag that’s 10x worse than when it first dropped. I gave it a little bit last night and it finally came around, but tonight I’ve restarted it twice and it’s taking FOREVER for menus to load…the FUCK is going on here?
Edit: nvm, restarted console and it seems good to go. Shit was weird and scary…carry on…
Not everyone can spot lag. I think it has more to do with your skill level. I can’t notice extra lag often, but F3 alucarD was at one of my first tournaments over a year and a half ago and was able to point out which Xbox360’s were set to 1080p instead of 720p
-Game looks better on PS4
-Still a bit of menu lag
-More lag, less reliable feeling on PS4/PSN when I play against a friend in my area (Seattle)
-Sound is still off in certain situations - ultras and when a round ends
I just bought this version and it seems to be working ok. I just play for fun so I got a Cronusmax on order to use my 360 TE. But this thread is making think I should cancel and just stick to 360.
is there a trick to finding matches that are on the lagless side of things? since ranked doesn’t show colored bars, its tough to know what one is.getting into
I have to force myself to use the MatchMaking from Training Mode and only play against green bars + pick training stage when attempting to play ranked mode. This is the best way to find players who aren’t playing on wi-fi and picking the lagged up stages.
Lots of endless rooms at all times of the day (in the US that is).
Steam version is the most enjoyable in my honest opinion but if you plan on doing endless its pretty dead at night time.
