USF4 - Makoto Changes Discussion

Hadn’t seen this posted yet, apologies if it had been.

What we have so far “confirmed” from location tests:

  1. Can combo into EX Fukiage grounded.
  2. Can jump cancel EX Fukiage on block or hit.
  3. Ultra 1 damage is 440

My 2 cents:

  1. Do they HAVE to be in hit stun for EX Fukiage to hit grounded? Or can we throw this move out as a whiff punish/poke etc. and get a combo if it connects?
  2. Possible mix-up potential here if they block EX Fukiage while grounded, I guess as you can go into a variety of jump options.
  3. Ultra 1 Damage nerf. Obviously not preferable. I loved the ridiculous damage that this Ultra did…can’t count how many times folks prob. thought they would live through this ultra…but didn’t. If EX fukiage can hit grounded opponents outside of combos though, I will take the trade.

What does everyone else think?
