I’ll update more later when everything’s updated. Posting from mobile so I’ll be double posting or shortening notations with things like Meterless or something. Besides that though good stuff so far. I’m mostly looking to fill in the blanks.
Forgot the exact numbers for these Hugo combos, but they hurt nonetheless. Can someone just confirm the damage numbers? I know they all work on the cast.
Meterless, 414
CH HP Clap > HP Clap > MP Clap > LP Clap > cr.LK/cr.LP/st.LK/st.LP xx LK Lariat.
2 bars + Ultra, 708
Ultra Throw > LP Clap > EX Clap > EX Clap > U2
Honestly, your rules are kinda sloppy right now, so I don’t know what I can and can’t do when you can’t do setups. Can I start with lv.3 FA in the meterless section? What about lv.2? what about slow-start up moves you can’t realistically land in neutral situations, like Makoto’s lv.5 hayate? Also, this list should be filled for every category so we know exactly what we can do:
Setup allowed?: Yes/No
Counterhit or Jump in allowed?: Only CH/Only Jump-in/Yes/No/Pick one
Super meter at start: 0-4 bars
Ultra meter at start: 0%/100%.
Corner?: Yes/No/Optional
Doopliss please. No set ups, no meaties, on a standing opponent. Not hard to understand.
Set ups include charged moves, full screen fireballs ect. Should be able to put two and three together by looking at the other combos in the categories. Not looking for combo video combos anywhere outside of max damage/stun categories.
Go nuts on those categories. Counter Hit OR Jump in, not both. Unless its something like full screen sonic boom counter hit, into a jump in then it’s alright.
edit. How did you just explain the rules to @tali then play the fool in your next post? The rules aren’t changing. Find the AE2012 thread if you need (i think you posted in that thread back then too). I doubt it tho.
Read the rules bby.
Meterless is no counter hit, jumpin, focus ect. So the combo would just be HP clap, MP clap, LP clap, c.LK xx LK Lariat
2 bar combo is just 2 bars.
Training mode vs Ryu SC Meter on Max Start.
use 2 ex moves full screen and press R3. then do the combo. Some characters can build a 3rd meter in 2 bar combos that’s why you dont use infinite meter.
The only thing I’m personally unclear on really is the FA thing and to some extent the corner rules. When you do the corner combo, do you have to be point blank to the opponent, do they have to be fully in the corner etc. And I wasn’t even aware there was an AE2012 thread, I thought this idea came to in the SFxT section.
Anyway, here’s some Hugo combos:
Meterless (midscreen and corner)
[441]Lv.3 FA, HP clap, MP Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat (369 without lv.3 FA)
Counterhit:
[484]CH Lv.3 FA, HP clap, MP Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat
1 bar:
[496]Lv.3 FA, HP clap, MP Clap, EX Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat
2 bars:
[526]Lv.3 RFA, HP clap, MP Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat
3 bars:
[580]Lv.3 RFA, HP clap, MP Clap, EX Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat (@1100 HP character)
4 bars:
[588]Lv.3 RFA, HP clap, MP Clap, EX Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx EX lariat (@1100 HP character)
Ultra:
[530]Lv.3 FA, late HP Clap, LP Clap, U2
Max Damage
[747]CH HP Clap, HP Clap, MP Clap xx Super, U2 (T.Hawk)
Max Stun:
[670]: CH lv.3 FA, late EX Clap x3. (Corner)
2 lights:
[205]c.LPx5
CH 2 bars:
[588] CH Lv.3 RFA, HP clap, MP Clap, LP clap, s.LK xx LK lariat (@1100 hp character)
Mmm I’m not sure if let the focus attack or not,on some combos the focus wouldn’t add damage,in fact it would reduce it,but in other cases it would increase it.I guess you can use focus,I don’t think it would increase damage too much across the board right?
Also yeah, this started way back in sfxt subforum, and then I took it in AE2012,and made a new treard for Ultra
Also I’ll try finish putting all the combos you guys sent between today and tomorrow
The rules are fine as is. We went over things like Demon flips counting as jump ins since aerial inputs, but allowing moves like jaguar tooth since they’re grounded moves.
For corner the opponent has to be cornered. Focus attacks are not allowed outside the two categories you mentioned previously.
There’s the previous tier list if you need, there’s no reason to copy entire posts over since some characters got slight buffs. People have to repost and confirm combos being the same as in 2012 for them to be included. Not making a version select tier list. Maybe in another 2 years when evo is edition select.
Meterless
369 Hugo HP Clap, MP Clap, LP Clap, s.LK xx Lariat
306 Poison cl.MP, c.HP xx Whip of Love
246 Cammy cl.HP, s.HP xx HK Drill
Corner
369 Hugo Meterless
Cammy Meterless
Counterhit
464 Hugo HP Clap, Meterless
266 Cammy meterless

450 Hugo HP Clap, MP Clap, EX Clap, LP Clap, c.LK xx Lariat
323 Poison Love Me Tender, cl.LK, cl.HK xx EX Whip of Love, HP Whip of Love
278 Cammy Meterless but EX drill
Come on now all the combos that were posted didn’t have Focus Attack, now we’ll have to redo all the combos to include Focus Attack? Is it really that hard to go with the flow? Of course FA will change the damage, it will add something.
I think level 3 focus would fall under a setup situation similar to fireball chasing since you need to charge it. Same as Makoto’s Hayate charge, El Fuerte Q Bomb, Cody Zonk, Balrog final TAP, Cody/Sakura/Oni/Gouken fireball charging, and Rose’s fireballs/super after absorbing enough fireballs.
The only time these things should be allowed is in the no rules category. Otherwise no.
Evil Ryu gained some new combos, but all his max punishes in every scenario remains the same. So everything about him from the last thread can be used in this one. Even his red focus combos do less than his normal 2-3 bar combos with and without Ultra.
CH Level 1 is fair I think, no charging required whatsoever. Level 2 sure it can happen in real matches but so can jump ins. Just leave level 2 and 3 for the anything goes section.
