USF4 combo tier list!

Man… that Viper video video made me remember that video I made of Cody’s close MK as a command normal. So much potential that we will never see lol.

Can’t wait to see what people come up with for Dan’s B+HK.

BTW For Cody you can just use all of the stuff from AE2012 except for his Ultra 2 combos. He didn’t get any new combos that do more damage except 1 combo with the knife in the corner only with a jump in and 4 bars (FJ HP - crHP - crHP - EX RF - F+MP - sMP - crHP - EX Criminal Upper = 514)

BTW, the other catagories I’d like to see:

Counterhit with 2 bars
After 2 light attacks (E.G hit confirm combo)

Also, what are the rules regarding standing vs crouching?

I’ll try to update the list as soon as possible,also if no one is against those 2 categories eternal I’m ok with them. And right now,you can only do stading vs crouching in max damage/stun combos,manly because if not there would be way too many categories

I think unolied Hakan and Oiled Hakan should be treated as 2 different characters for this list,don’t you think so guys?
Also,FANDC stands for FADC (level 1 focus) cancel dash into attack or FADC (focus doesn’t hit) dash cancel into attack?

There’s no focus hit in those, just dash canceling into another normal.

I think just listing Oik Hakan is fine.

Also,I’ve updated most of the things (Eternal categories,most of the combos…) the only thing I left is the max stun hakan combo of Lynx, becuase yes,character specific are ok for the max categories,but you must say on who it works

s.mp, s.mp, f+lk is a new link chain he got in ultra. I did the full stuncombo sequence on Hugo.

The link chain works on Honda too, at least, so I’d think the full combo would too. On some characters it’s crouch specific. I haven’t really played around it enough to have a comprehensive list. After the few characters I’ve tried it on I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work on almost anyone standing (something I had been really looking forward to in ultra as a new punisher, me sad) so if that’s not okay just use the other one.

That would make like 20 different categories or so,meaby after we finish with the ones we have I’ll add them

the categories are fine. just don’t put in the combos that don’t follow the format or rules. can’t cater to people that can’t follow simple instructions.

When I get ultra I’ll finish most characters here.

The issue with SFIV that SFxT doesn’t have is that A LOT of combos are character specific to some degree. So how strict is the character specific rules? Does it need to work on half the cast, most of the cast, a few characters etc?

Well there is character specific stuff in sfxt, but it’s usually not as character specific, or as impactful. Like all of Raven’s max damage stuff only works on big bodies.

In SF4 I have decapre combos that literally work on one character.

Yeah,I knew that issue the moment I thought about making this in ae, if the combo works on the majority of the cast (like,I dunno, around 65% of the cast) then it’s ok.
