Used BlazBlue CS...pros/cons?

I was thinking about picking up a used copy of BlazBlue CS for 360, but I was wondering (just in case) if the previous owner unlocked Makoto, would she be unavailable for me to purchase on my own console?

Sorry if it’s a dumb question…I tried asking gamer friends, but they couldn’t answer for sure on that one.

Also, any cons to purchasing a used fighting game in the past for any of you?
