I know u guys are upstate but I might as well give it a shot. Charleston finally has a place of venue that can host games on the reg. I’m hoping it turns out to be like Next Level in NY.
We can now host biweekly sunday tournaments. This one is Sept 11. But then the next one is Sept 25. I hope some of yall can make it.
Worse than MK9, if you can believe it. Worse than Ultimate a la carte for sure. But it’s still fun to play MK1 against unexpecting nubs

Speaking of MK what does everyone think about MK9 now that it has been out for a while, do you think it will have staying power? I love the game but i just dont play it that much(too much marvel!!)
Ha ha no shit - I have the MK2 one but not the 1 or 3 ones A friend of mine stole it out of the MK2 machine at Tri-County Tech when we were teenagers.
I like it still, but I don’t play it nearly as much as 3s or even the new MK collection (I don’t think I’ve touched it since MKC came out). I think the balance patches are a good thing for competitive play, but it does take away from the fun. There’s nothing like hitting someone with an 81% corner combo in a tournament - I did that out here on my joystick before the first patch, and people just stopped and were like “WHAT THE FUCK!!!” One guy said something along the lines of “that just sounded like it hurt”…lol
ok guys i sold the neo geo and mame cabs and a bunch of other stuff but i still have a SF2 cab and a golden tee.
i am knocking down the price to get rid of them quick.
