Looking for players, Spartanburg, SC
Just wondering if there were anyone, playgroups, tournaments, whatever it maybe that is going on around the area or maybe not too far. I’m not so familiar with the area, just visiting for a while. So if anyone can let me know, hopefully when I get some free time I can get some games in with some SC people.

Mvc3 is going to be just way too good!! Lester is hating on it cause he can’t pick team laser, or maybe because no ken gamma type.Not sure on that one yet. I cant wait for both mvc3 and mk so I can have something different to play other than ssf4 and black ops. I hope mvc3 gets hype enough for someone to pull a knife on me again.
Happy about another game that I have no time to get good at? IDK I just hate the way the game looks really. I had a problem defending in TVC because of the transition from air to ground.

I am 99% certain that Zero will be my first character choice in MvC3…yes, that sounds good to me!
zero looks broken as FUCK, I want my first team to be Wesker, doom and magneto. I am also really liking Iron Man, Dante, Chris and Deadpool alot too. So many cool characters!!

Zero is a great choice Ted!! I played him in TvC a lot, and from the vids I saw he looks like he plays pretty much just the same. A lot of holding down the A button to charge his buster during combos which was really fun to learn. He will definitely be on some of my teams since I put a good amount of work into learning his TvC version. Now we just need hayato and strider to complete the badass sword users:woot:

Well Strider would be a great addition! I need to get a copy of TvC and play it some for myself as I’ve never touched the game mainly due to the fact I would have to buy another stick. I can hang with holding down the “A” button, I had a small combo video I did of Megaman from MvC1 that centered around rediculously long Megabuster charges.
if you have a ps/ps2 stick you could just get the joybox converter for cheap and use that stick for wii. TvC is definitely an interesting game and I had a lot of fun with it when I was playing. Even though it will pretty much be dead once mvc3 hits stores, it’s still a fun game to try out. It definitely prepared me for the 3 attack button scheme in versus games.
be carefull on those i have a ps1 stick that wont work with my joybox. keith the joybox is the purple one right?
Yes sir. It’s the purple one. Never tried it with a ps1 stick, but it definitely works with the ps2 stick I used.
I have my MAS stick but it needs the PS cable replaced as it has a broken wire and I don’t really have the tools to do the tiny soldering that the MAS PC board requires. I do have my Madcatz 15th Anny stick, but it’s retired to the box for safe keeping.
GGS to Mr Clark tonight. Very tight Ibuki game you’ve got there. My execution was off a little tonight. I’ll play it off as exhaustion. We been working 12 hour shifts for two weeks and last night was my 1st opportunity to play a little. if anyone is gonna be on-line tonight, I’ll be on around 7:30pm.
