I played SS2 against some of the NC guys with very little lag. Every other match was against people from BFA(sia) LOL so it was laggy as hell. It is impossible to find anyone playing online though. Let me know a good time and we’ll play a few matches.

I’m afraid though with spectators and the huge potential for them lagging out matches,… that with Super’s netcode being the same as SF4, not sure how it’ll handle… hopefully OK though…

I believe the lobbies will be fine as long as eveyone is semi local. It wouldn’t be that bad now if people would stop d/ling during online play and also realise a 5mb connection is barely broadband.
FCC just had a major debate to congress about 100mb connection regulations so fingers crossed. I watch cspan2…

Are there any local scenes currently active in the upstate? Clemson campus is dead except for CoDMW2 stuff.
As far as “in person meetings,” I would wager your best bet is Greenville - hit up filldoh for tournament information, or PROFESSORLESTER or KeithD to see when those guys get together (if at all).
There are a few guys left in Anderson (UncleBuck, JohnnyQuest when he’s around, The_Gunslinger, nachobusiness1) but I’m not too sure how often they get together anymore. Scratch that, I don’t know how often they get together to PLAY anymore - they get together to drunk dial me every so often (like yesterday)
Clemson never really had a huge scene - Tha_Janitor and I both went to Clemson and we had a few tournaments and meetups there for a while, but that was years and years ago. You might want to hit up Scott (the manager of Gamestop) or the other guys there and see what they know, and they might be able to put you in touch with some of the other GS guys that play fighting games around that area (the manager of the GS in Easley, for example, posts on here as well).
Heh - unfortunately, I wasn’t doing anything, just turned the wrong way. I have a bulging (maybe herniated) disc in my lower back, and it’s been a problem for years (even when I lived in G’ville), but recently it’s gotten a little worse. Going to see a neurosurgeon in a few weeks to check for nerve damage, will probably have to go see an orthopedic guy after that. Basically, I have to train myself to sit up straight lol. I’m back to “normal” now at least, still a little sore, but I have like a 3-month supply of muscle relaxers to help out.

can’t remember. anyways i FINALLY got some. i got the “cheaper” ones though, the “solo” versions. they are good but the other ones are better imo. still a full rich sound but the earcup is smaller and creates a vaccum around the ear. this helps cancel the noise but there is no breathing room for the ear which gives me a warm, flush feeling whenever I have them on for long periods of time. almost like being dehydrated or taking a niacin pill if any of you have experienced either one of the two.
idk man, i still wish i could have got the other ones and tricked them out with some fresh ass colors.:sad:
