If you’re looking for a new stick there MIGHT be a PS3 SF stick in crossgates mall. I went today to see if I would get lucky and the store like diagonal from Best Buy that links to the food court. The cd store or whatever forget what it is.
Went in there and the dude told me that he didn’t have any xbox ones but they had ps3 sticks. I didn’t tell him to show me them though since I didn’t really care so i have no idea if its the SE or TE or if hes just an idiot.
Havnt been to crossgates in a long while but sounds like FYE they never get anything so thats surprising.

I’m headed up now with my PS3. Hopefully Ken or whoever will let me hook it up. I got everyone in SFIV, if anyone would prefer to play on PS3. I’m also bringing other games to fart around with to kinda break this stick in. Shame it wont work with PS2 games though.

Will definitely keep track of my record next time. And I hope to play more Tekken. It’d be awesome if you guys really wanted to learn. Tekken 6 will be out “soon” and I’ll have no reason to play any other game.
I’ll see whoever’s coming on Saturday, on Saturday. Gonna come early again to warm up and try to get better at SFIV.
Got bit by the CvS2 bug again and if people wanna play it, awesome. Gonna start getting back into that too. That game looks like it’s 16-bit on an HD-TV though.
I want some Alpha 3 next time as well.

On a more serious note. Sweet lord I hope my router comes in the mail today. My current one is straight trash in terms of connection.
I can now EX focus cancel into ultras now. Just working on consistency and actually doing it on a stick. I can do it on pad no problem. I’ve only gotten Sagat’s on a stick so far. I figured out why Ken doesn’t get his full ultra, his Shoryuken has to be counter hit for some reason. I guess it would’ve been too good to have it land on normal hit. I wonder if I should start reading other threads on this site. I dunno, I haven’t decided on a main for IV yet. Rog, Akuma, Ken, Sagat? I’d feel dirty maining Sagat though. Capcom will you please put Guy in this game?
You can do it with ken w/o ch. I need to practice my gief combos more. low jab x2, low short into ex hand.

you can cancel into kens in the corner and it will hit a decent amount of it. Play Ken, noone plays Ken and he’s pretty cool.
I don’t think so. Just tried it and he doesn’t get the full combo. CH allows you to EX cancel the first hit of an hp.Shoryuken into the Ultra or you can cancel off the second hit. On normal hit, you can only cancel off the second hit of the Shoryu, but when you hit the Ultra he doesn’t get it in full.
Ryu players don’t have to worry about that at all because his is dirt easy and consistent no matter which shoryu you hit with. :arazz:
However I will check the Ken forums to see if I’m fucking anything up.
you don’t hit the full combo, just the shinryuken at the end.
