2:30PM - Super Street Fighter IV singles begins

Venue Fee: $10
Entry Fee: $10 [per tournament]

FORMAT FOR OFFICIAL GAMES:
Super Street Fighter IV (Xbox 360)
Double elimination tournament [99 sec timer]
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games per semi final match
4 out of 7 games grand finals

Format
Single Elimination
Best-of-1 until Round of 16 (Round 1 is Bo1).
Best-of-3 Round of 16, Round of 8, and Round of 4 (Round 2-4 is Bo3).
Best-of-5 Finals (round 5)

Disconnects and Lag

If your opponent is disconnecting, players should take a screenshot of the lag screen and contact the tournament referee.

If a disconnect happens in the first five minutes and there has been no player-opponent contact, game will be replayed.

In a Bo1, if a disconnect happens after player-opponent contact, disconnecting player receives a loss. The Referee will make the final decision after reviewing the screenshot and replay.

In a Bo3, if a disconnect happens after player-contact, player must contact Referee immediately and Referee will decide how to proceed after reviewing the evidence.

Referees and Tournament Administrators reserve the right to overturn results or award wins based on evidence they see.

If there is persistent unplayable lag (lag screen comes up more than once in a short time), players must contact a Referee who will decide how to proceed.

I’m assuming it’s to attract players from outside the GTA, making travel less for them to get to the event. But 3 and a half hours from all of the GTA is really damn far :S.

Same. I clicked on the google map expecting this to be like… pickering or something. And then I tried zooming out to see where I was. And then I zoomed out again, and I’m still lost.

The thing with long commutes to Mtl and such, it may take 6 hours to get there but at least you’d be in Montreal. Can’t say I’m too curious about the Brockville nightlife.

here i am trying to run events for the community and some overly sensitive guy brings up jokes that were said over three years ago.

who are you? have i ever even met you? if i was saying anything like this in front of you and you had a grievance why did you not say it to my face? i dont care if any of you guys has have anything against me, i have done nothing to any of you. im just trying to run a cool event for the community as i am a long time fan myself. if you have something to say please pm me or say it to my face. lets keep it out of this tread please.
