I’m guessing that by doing the back and Fierce, you eliminate the possibility of an accidental cr.Fierce. Motion still seems strange though.
From the looks of it, I reckon it’s just a rhythm thing. From the back fierce he goes straight into the qcf for run.
I’m starting to wonder if it may be time for a new RSF thread… namely since there’s RSP and RScrMK since Ski’s not around T_T
I’m so sloppy
Is it a good idea to negative edge the run?
E.g. Cl.hp (hold), QCF (release), wait, cl.lp clhp (hold) etc
If you feel comfortable doing it that way, then by all means. I personally prefer not to negative edge, because the galloping pattern of the button presses helps my timing and feel for the combo.
@Densuo RSP?
Rsp run stop pressure
Densuo, it looks like it’s a combination of stopping too soon, and possibly executing your next run a little late. Try practicing by starting off with a cl.hp and buffering the run and do the gallop from there. If you are still in cl.hp range and get blocked, your execution needs to be tighter. If you are getting pushed back too far by the third punch, you are probably stopping too early. Also try not to condition yourself to stop at two because the third (even if it probably will). Just RSF even into blocks just to develop a rhythm.
Is this happening too anyone else: you’ve been so flawless with the RSF that now you mess it up frequently? Like instead of doing F, RSF, RSF, RSF, you’ll accidentally do F, RSR (or F, RSF, RSR). I’ve seen TKD do it often, too.
Gettin sloppy with da inputs =p
In super I was comfortable doing 7-8 into slide all the time. Now I feel sketchy doing 5. Not sure the actual cause.
Quite frankly is it even worth doing that much anymore? given the damage scaling and risk?
Yes, fear is a factor. If you can get that much then you might as well get them as close to stun as possible. The damage scaling and the risk has always been the same since Super really. And if anything rsf is easier with the buffs to cl.hp.
I just RSF til I see I’m about to drop it then go from there. I have no set number of reps on my head.
Also first person to seven rep Yun get a big wet kiss from me. Homo.
Messing around with run stop. My comp started to get laggy towards the end with the recording. You have to get the timing just right on the twins or you will whiff when they reel back.
You beat me to it, although I did only see this around the same time you posted Fox…I felt I should upload one as well. I hit an 8 hit RSF against Yun when AE first came out, and posted here, but I didn’t have the means to upload a video…
Funny enough, the phone recording picked up my hand inputs really solid, so you can hear the rhythm
nice one! your rsf sounds different than mine!
RSF ON YUN IM GETTING 4 WITH THE FOCUS CRUMPLE
Landed a 2-hit rsf in a match yesterday. Openings are scarce…
Some characters, it’s easier like baiting DPs on certain characters, but others, it’s much harder.
Fuerte shouldn’t have been designed with a loop for his main source of damage. They should’ve made him more combo oriented, kind of like a Tekken character. Maybe that’ll change if he gets in SF x Tekken.
The loop is not Fuertes main source of dmg.
Considering I’m been doing primarily vortexes for quite some time, you are quite right. I’m just saying that they shouldn’t have had to resort to implementing a loop in his design.
