Am I wrong? Can anyone help with this info?

OK, its been a while since I’ve been here. Hey tsphan, will it be possible for you to download the latest version of my modified driver located here:

And let me know if the included .plist is up to date? I’ve been adding controllers manually for people that download the driver at http://www.creativdeveloper.com and I’m sure there may be a whole lot that you have added here that won’t be in there.

In fact I’ll volunteer to host a link to the latest .plist file on the site, and any additional scripts that may have appeared in the meantime (such as newer versions of untattiebogle, and the plist updater script) so that people can use them to update my driver.

In case you have forgotten, my driver was a modded version of 0.07 (at the time the latest available source code) and I modified it to include digital triggers (so certain emulators could use the LT and RT buttons as digital switches rather than analogue) and also allowed installation over “later” versions of the driver.

If you can, please respond. I also just updated my macbook to Lion so I’m ready to see whether I can help all those that have Lion-related issues. Could you just help me answer the following:

Tattiebogle has a version 0.11 out with source. Is this version Lion compatible? Have people had problems using it? Should I add digital triggers to this one or just leave it alone? Or would you prefer version 0.07mod to be made compatible with Lion instead, in order to make use of the existing info.plists.

Thanks! Hopefully we’ll soon have an “official” set of tools that will enable anyone use their controllers on Lion. If I have time I may even integrate the plist updater into the control panel… but first I need some feedback.

Cheerio!

I have the same exact controller and im having the same exact problem please help us!!

Latest Installer File:
Does not require dragging, and requires only 1 input of password. I also included an xbox 360 controller icon for identification. Just double click it and it’ll ask you to select the file you want to install. Much easier and simpler to explain to people.

Latest Controller List file with everything included so far. Including the controller data that creativdeveloper had. This is a pretty big list at the moment and I’m sure it’ll get bigger as more controllers are being made. Noticeable ones that I saw missing are the SFxTekken sticks/pads and the HORI SCV sticks.

As for Lion compatibility, see what everyone is posting about so far. I’m going to contact creativdeveloper about what I found so far. Since I can’t program, it would be awesome if he could implement some of the Lion fixes to the older drivers to allow compatibility with Lion. And also include the controller list in the installer itself, I haven’t been successful so far at it. After that I’ll start a new thread.

Sorry I’ve been so slow in updating as well everyone. I’m at my last term of college (university for you non-Americans) and will be earning my chemical engineering degree soon. I’ll have much more free time afterwards.

no qanba or eightarc support yet?

Qanba and Eightarc have PS3/PC support which behaves as DirectInput. No need to use the Xbox 360 drivers, which translates the XInput of the Xbox 360 controllers to DirectInput for use in Mac OS X. If you really want to use them under Xbox mode, then the VendorID and ProductIDs must be provided and added to the controller list.

for some reason mine didnt work on mame osx on osx lion

it did however work on mame windows 7 no problems, but somehow i felt like it was lagging just a bit (tested it out with xbox/ps3, no lag)

Fixed the issue, i had to delete gamepad companion and USB overdrive, and it worked flawlessly

Thank you so much for adding all these controllers in! I really really appreciate it. Could you possibly add support for the xbox 360 brawl pad.

How the hell did you do it?? i got a wired regular white 360 controller from gamestop on the back it says BB-070 and i can’t get it to work with any driver I’ve put in. i plug it in and my computer says its plugged in but its not configured or anything. i got Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 let me know if you can help

Did you ever figure out how to get it to work? I’m still having issues and nothing is working. let me know. Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 and i got a regular GameStop wired white controller and on the back it says BB-070

So I just got the Hori Soul Calibur V stick, has anyone gotten this to work on a mac? I can’t find anything about this online, and I have Lion as well so that complicates it a bit more I think. I guess I could install Windows on this computer as well but it’d be nice to have the stick working on my main OS.

anyone tested this with mountain lion yet?

I got to the Hori SCV stick to work. I had to manually edit one of those plist files. My edited version is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?y770gfzg07bm3gm

Then install it using this: http://www.mediafire.com/?26co3avbvepa5az

Then I had to enter “sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions” into Terminal.

That got the stick to work.

Seems to be working in Mountain Lion, as well.

took the plunge after reading your reply last night. everything still works from the looks of it, preferences panel still loads, works in mame and controllermate

Wow thanks a lot man, it’s working now!

Hi everyone - I hope someone can help me since I am completely lost.
I have a (SFIV arcade fightstick tournament edition - xbox360) and have been trying to make it work on my MAC with MAME. 3 weeks later it is still not working :frowning:

am running on mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

Completely confused on how to install my Razer TE controller. I’ve used the new controller lists, the InstallNewControllerList app, but my controller still doesn’t show up on the list. Can someone give me a step by step tutorial or something? I’m on Lion 10.7.4 by the way.

How do I get to the system info for the controller? I have a Razer Onza TE.
Sorry for being a noob.
