Hecatom: Np man…I am 99% sure of it, but feel free to do a research and let’s see if that theory is true
I finally played it tonight, great game, the house was full and we were just figuring out the chars and combos and shit. We did try online 5 times, it was really bad, I’ll be playing it again tomorrow after 6pm (et) and up.
On a side note, I played MvC2 and that shit ran smooth.
There seems to be a clear devide, here. I’m not sure why it is some people are experiencing great online play while others are still left in the dust. I wonder which console got more out of this update.
Looking foward to facing Slide again, despite knowing what the outcome will be. I’ll be on a lot tomorrow morning if anyone wants some comp. Vizince on Live
I think this game could be better. I am kof fan and I enjoy the game. I just kinda wish they implemented a couple more stages, characters, and moves.
I thought this game had a chance of being a popular fighting game and being on topics of EVO discussion. I thought this game would make more video game people in America recognize SNK more and kof series will become more popular. Well KOFXIII will be good to go hopefully.
I honestly believe this has to do with a lot of casual players getting “used to online” play as opposed to playing arcade mode due to the lack of options the game offers.
“Good Connection” just seems IMO as another word for acceptable and KOF should NOT be played this way. The game is already slower than previous versions.
The people having problems are probably either playing red bars or player/arcade matches with specs. Even 1 spec will kill the game and make it superlaggy.
Yellow bars are usually good - about 80% of the time. Generally when they aren’t, it’s because you’re playing foreigners.
Ditto on that… This game is a blast to play. The only problem is playing online. I can see this game being up there with SF4 if SNK hadnt put out a half ass product. Hopefully through some nice DLC and the netcode patch they can rectify their mistakes. I have faith
Oh and as far as your yellow bar connections being good. I played another player here in Columbus, OH …he is probably about 15mins from me and we had yellow bars on each others connections when we took turns hosting. There was a noticeable input lag but the game was still at least playable. For the record I have not played a lagless match online in this game. I have never seen a blue or green bar connection either…its all myth lol.
