update out now

Haha the chinfinite.

Until the online gets fixed, I am not playing anymore “arcade” matches; only clan matches when Dark Geese gets setup and player matches. I have 2 wins and 2 losses in arcade mode; mainly due to the lag.

I don’t think they should fix the chinfinite or athenas infinite (lol only because i use them both), but also due to the fact that during an intense matchup no pro or above average player will even attempt to try to do them…

LOL!

You underestimate the lengths people go to win. But more so, why keep console glitches in place (I am almost sure none of the infinites were possible in arcade)? Patch please.

If they weren’t possible in the arcade, it needs a patch. Pretty simple.

Well as I mentioned, my comment was a bit biased simply because I use both Chin and Athena. But honestly though, It’s not really a big deal to me whether they get pulled out or not… If you get caught in the infinite, that’s ur own damn problem.

Don’t hate me but,

I only got 2 DCs and my connections are near superb, only around 10% of my matches lag, and 60% of those matches’ lag will clear by the middle of round one.

It might be a fluke, but I played two matches with some guy who had yellow bars. Lag-free, awesome matches. The best yet, in regards to lag.

Looks at your gamertag.

You played against me, I was that guy.

ggs

p.s. I was hoping you’d play longer, but no one ever really sticks around past 2 or 3 matches, even though everyone says when they play me it’s greta connection.

p.p.s It was no fluke.

One last thing, cool Iori man

I live in CT but not there at the moment

I hope they get their act together soon. I almost went and traded it in today so I could afford lunch.

ggs dude, you got that hop jumps down. I need to get used to blocking that correctly. Too much Street Fighter.

Just in case folks haven’t seen this, more Ignition news (link):

Hello KOFXII Fans:

As we stated yesterday, we are currently in serious talks with SNK PLAYMORE about getting some of the online/netcode and functional concerns addressed as soon as possible. We have also passed along the top DLC requests that the fans are making so they can be very much aware of what people want. Here are some of the requests we have specifically passed along to SNK PLAYMORE:

FUNCTIONAL ISSUES:

  1. Netcode performance improvements HIGHEST PRIORITY

  2. Ability to search for game sessions by connection speeds

  3. Adding the ability for players and spectators to quit out of online matches

  4. Addition of kick or remove player option from host lobbies

  5. Various game play bugs, including the Raiden/Elizabeth critical combo bug

  6. Ability to cancel or back out of the character selection screen

DLC FAN REQUESTS:
Additional Characters (and yes, Mai is on top of the list we provided SNK)
Additional Stages
Ability to Color Edit Characters
Endless Survival Mode
Endless Time Attack Modes
Challenge Mode

We will keep you informed of any progress made with SNK PLAYMORE and we again thank you for the incredible support. We encourage you to continue with the constructive feedback, as we are fans of the series too!

Also, my 360 died on me (video and audio are gone), so it looks like I’ll be out of the fight for awhile. But keep fighting the good fight, folks!

Ah! Hey man . My fiance walked in the door as you finished whomping me. She was in a bad mood about the hiring process for some job prospect. Thanks re: Iori.

Your Leona is crazy. Never been trumped by her like that. Not ever.

I’ll add you on Live! when I sign on again.

GGs.

ggs. You don’t actually have to just block them all the time, if you can spot them or prevent them instead. Blocking them is reserved for when your strikes that can actually beat them out, won’t work in the situation, like waking up for example.

You can use standing jabs, and moves that strike upwards, to protect yourself. Instead of using the risky DPs that miss. You like using Kyo and stuff, right? You can just his standing C and his cC to defend against hops and jumps, and his standing far D to beat low Bs. The DP itself is best reversed for high priority jumps you can see a mile away, and combos.

Thanks for the Leona compliment.
Yeah add me up man, let’s play again.

I don’t know about you guys, but I need to take a break after a few games. I don’t know why it is, but I feel like I’ve been through a war after a good KOF12 match…it’s exhausting. I can play SF/SC/Garou for hours on end without stopping. Very odd.

It’s just now starting up, so feel free to check it out, folks!

Any other thoughts on the update (360)? I played one other (unfortunate) opponent a while after I played Slide. Smooth sailing, once again.

Well none of those have 3v3 matches as the norm. You have to constantly change your strategy with every character that gets knocked out from each side.

Just played a yellow bar match from here in Chicago versus someone in New Jersey. It wasn’t slow motion, but I wouldn’t call it playable either. I’d say it was almost as good as playing SFIV versus players in the UK.
