Also, the boss there knows about foreign players so he’ll probably shit himself if the foreign SBO quals show up. Maybe give you guys a discount.
So I just landed in Tokyo a couple of days ago (staying for 6 months) and I’m wondering if both good and bad players attend this? I’m not that good and would like comp at more or less my level to avoid being totally humiliated over and over

Wong and Marn, missed ya today… #1 Honda in the world was there and he got a 32 win streak with no one to break him up.
Also Marn, the guy you wanna hunt down is Kurisuto. Kindevu is higher ranked but Kurisuto is on par playing wise and also Kindevu lives in Aichi which is like a couple hours driving from here. Prolly won’t see him while you’re here.

Anyway from what I heard this kirisuto guy is like a high school student or something. He’s very young compared to the other guys and he’s good. But of course, thats what I heard, havent seen him in person.

Supposedly you can see it immediately after exitting the JR Takadanobaba station. Event starts at 530pm though there might be delays and shit. I’ll reach there earlier though, wont hurt I guess. Wanna take some Abel vids. LOL
Anyway yeah I think all the players are practicing there till the event.

funny, i was on the way to free play last night and it was kinda late so i stopped at 7 island instead, comp was ok, not that many people though.
I was at BIG BOX last night, a lot of people, decent comp. 40-70k BP people. I had a couple win streaks here and there.
I’ll be at Club Sega Shinjuku today at around 2-ish… Then head over to TRF Nakano around 5-6.
So I guess the SBO decider is today? I’ll be heading over after eating something.
Jeah Shiro/Iyo finally qualified. I think imma get a few more games before leaving, i have tons of work actually and mad broke. Though I feel kinda out of place being the only n00b player there. Everyone is at least 20k+ and im like 9k BP LOL
It was completely amazing seeing all those elite players in the flesh. Iyo, Mago, Ojisanboi, Nemo, Shiro, TKD etc. I even had the honor to get my ass royally kicked by a few of them (Ojisanboi, Nemo and TKD) just for laughs I also met this really nice guy from SRK, his nick was mrdhalsim and we talked for a good while about everything from Street Fighter to Lost. The fighting community is indeed friendly
lol I dont know who’s who from srk (plus my people skills suckz 
) so i only went to watch the qualifiers and got my ass kicked by mago, ac revenger, etc. I left early (around 8pm) since I got tons of work waiting at home.
