It doesn’t work more than once though. You can’t say that’s a good tactic or had any real strategy behind it. That’s a problem I have with 4, newbs that can land a few hits or get something lucky can hit an ultra… maybe there was a method to his stupid tactic, but I guarantee he’s not going to beat me next week.

I still don’t think we should be playing on broken/bad equipment though. Hell, that Bullet Hell shooter game that nobody plays had a perfect working stick. I think if somebody who can actually explain the issue talks to the boss it will be fixed.

Anyone play in Yokohama btw? I was over there today and that Pasiopard place seemed pretty active.
Pasopiard is pretty tough, ive been there only once though(few months back) and didnt dare to get on the machine lol. But now, maybe i’ll give it a try when i have the time.
Oh man I wish I read this forum earlier, im on vacation in japan right now and have been playing at Arcade Hey in Akihabara and Club Sega in Shinjuku. When is the next time you all are showing up there?
I live in Yokohama now, and I’ve been trying to find that place, but haven’t had enough time to actually go looking for it.
I’m only 5 stations from Yokohama Station on the Kehin Touhoku line.
Don’t forget about KSK’s arcade Gamers Vision in Nishi Yokohama. Also, American Graffiti was a pretty decent arcade when I played there last march, its like 3 mins from the station heading east I think.
Hot girls crowd around there too in crazy fashion. I saw one really cute girl dressed up in a full french maid outfit… only in Japan.
Rick- We play Thursday Nights, though I am thinking I’ll be going to Game Safari Ikebukuro too. Online play is meh…
BTW: Any of you guys go to GameNewton? I hear the one in Ooyama has strong Hyper SFII players and would like to see for myself. There aren’t too many japanese I’ve played here at that I can’t beat. (until they pick CE Bison!!!)
Yeah I’ve been to Game Newton a long time ago for some 3rd Strike Tournaments. The players that regular there are really strong and they have a pretty wide variety of games. Its also on a really cool street with a bunch of shops.

Maybe it’s capcom’s idea to keep japanese playing in the arcade or something? I just want to hair out and eat it like Mankind from wrestling when I attempt to play a ranked match.

Guys, there’s a tourney at my arcade(just a small place) its 300 yen this saturday. Tourney starts at 8pm but the machines (unfortunately only 2 are available) are gonna be in freeplay mode from 5pm. The place is 1hour+ from shinjuku by odakyu line, yall been warned. LOL

Oh snap son. Got a phone number dude? I’ll give you a ring next time I go out there. (Maybe on wednesday (?)) But Pasiopard is really close to the station where the keikyu line gets off at. I don’t know the name of any roads or anything though… It’s near a river though. There’s a bridge with a red walkway and theres an alley under an archway. It’s in the alley, you can see it from the bridge.
KSK’s Gamer’s Vision is in Yokohama? That’s insane! I remember first getting into fighting games and watching youtube video matches from that arcade. Where is that?

Is GameNewton the tiny arcade near Oomiya station? The street with lots of little shops sounds like it, but it’s a little different than described. There was 4 or 5 arcades, but only the small one closest to Oomiya station had SF4, and it didn’t have 3rd Strike. It had 2 SF4 machines linked up with 2 BlazBlue machines next to it on one side and 4 Tekken 6 machines on the other.
I went there on saturday afternoon, but nobody was there to play with, so I just messed around in arcade mode for an hour or 2. People were only playing Tekken 6 at the time.
I’m on vacation near Oomiya right now and would love to play someone if either of you guys are still there. I’m not great at the game or anything though. Gonna go check out the arcade again tonight and see if there’s anyone to play with. If any of you know the Oomiya arcade I’m talking about, we can arrange a meet-up and play.
