I’m pretty sure the Tekken tournament is just singles. That’s what the first post appears to say at least, though it’s quite possible that the public education system simply failed to teach me proper reading comprehension.

wow there’s a chance I may be able to make out for this…I have a noob question though… I see that it says ps3 or xbox360? which console will be used? what if I only use a ps3 pad?
also will it be 4:3 or wide screen?
LOL finally you come out. Both will be used sir. If an XBOX is used and you don’t have a controller, you have to borrow. A lot of guys are nice enough to do this. If you need help with it, let me know.
If you’re referring to HDR, we have been doing 4:3 in most of the tournies. We’ll probably take a vote though. I don’t mind either.

Yeah i’m keeping my hopes up that I can make it. So if the XBOX is used I have to use the XBOX pad? I’ve never touched that in my life, lol…I could possibly use a stick since that’s all I played with back in the arcade days, but I dont’ think I could adjust that quickly… I should give 4:3 a try to feel the difference, but it would be cool if they did it widescreen.

the last fuddruckers i went to they let me wait for a ps3 console (pad warrior too). im sure they wont be too anal as most pad players are ps3 users and most stick players have sticks compatible with both systems.
Nothing wrong with pad usage. Ask little brother Andrew how he did at the last Fuddruckers. Also I’ve seen Vance’s gief in action… crazy. However, the 360 monstrosity pad is a little different. I feel like I gotta wrap my arm that one. I haven’t seen anybody successful with it but prove us wrong folks. No need to worry though, I think there will be enough ps3’s to compete.
PSN regular HDR guys… plenty in the bay area but it’s hard to get them out sometimes. Recently, I have seen djreign, eltwopee, andy (vega guy), johnchoiboy, and a couple of others… I can’t remember right now. I’m trying to get snk-player, optima_SF, and onehitparry to come out one of these days. All great players in my book.
i’m thinking about competing in HDR as well. i’ll have to freshen up on that game though since I don’t play it often enough.
