At first I was like man this tournament looks hella lame and retarded who would go to this garbage. Then I saw the flyer and now I’m compelled to go.

Is it going to be like a “you can choose what console you want to play on and hopefully agree with your opponent because we’re assuming/hoping everyone’s stick is dual-modded” deal? (Like at Triple Threat)
If it was brought up earlier then I’m sorry for asking it now. In my defense, I’m a lazy asshole who can’t read. Just wondering what is meant by 2 consoles.
EDIT: Nevermind I asked Rom (about Question #2). I didn’t know Fuddruckers had been like that since I never went to one. I just know the bad experiences I had at Triple Threat with everyone borrowing my stick. ;___; I know the Fudd tournies have been successful in the past though, it just seemed odd to me.
Basically what has happened in the past is that this tournament relies on the “community” (i hate that word) to bring in consoles to help run the event so the organizers don’t stick to one system. When you find out who your opponent is you say “ok my stick plays on X system” and hopefully they can play on that system as well.
In the event that both players can not agree on what system to play on you flip a coin. However, a TE is a TE so people like you and I won’t really care what system we play on. It is really only a problem when pad players show up.

How many teams are expected to be here?
No idea, but past tournament was over 200 people entering I believe. I forget the numbers.
No idea. Every time that we’ve run this event for singles, we ended up capping at 128 people, except for the last one which had roughly 180+ locals players joining the event.
It’s been a while since we ran the last Fuddruckers, so hopefully we’ll achieve similar numbers.
Usually 200+ people attend to watch it, so we’ll have to hope for the best!
