you’d think so but at this point it seems srk admins have washed their hands of the process and are letting vanilla support take over since it seems like only that 19 year old random dude is responding to anything here now. seriously, all that needed to be done originally was a change in the link reference. it clearly just generated the wrong url when everything was ingested from xenforo, but instead of fixing them its just been lazily removed.
but hey, at least our Tekken forum is a-ok, for all 2 people who don’t just post on tekken zaibatsu
Naw, people will be banned for spamming videos in their signatures. Sorry it’s allowed for right now: people abusing it will simply lose posting privileges, since that’s the quickest way for us mods to stop it.
Double/triple/quadruple posts showing up as spam in the mod tools means we have to go Verify the poster (if they weren’t already), mark the posts as not spam (since they aren’t), and then go delete them. It’s cumbersome. A secondary queue for duplicate posts - or simply an outright block on them, without noting them as spam - would seem preferable. You might still want to flag the account, no problem there.
The only thing currently standing in the way of releasing 1.3.x is the ads. There’s a whole bunch of custom code currently applied to the theme so we’ll need to figure out the best way to ensure that this is placed somewhere outside the source of the theme as to make maintenance as painless as possible. We’re almost there fellas!
A user just PM’ed me for help in the Honda forum. After editing a post he made, the thread’s formatting got all messed up. Please check out the first post.
@zUkUu: Dang, my bad! Edit mode is missing some stuff yes, I’m aware. I’ll see if I can work something out over the weekend - beware though, we’re talking about changing the core; this takes time as QA is strict.
@zUkUu: You’ve got way too much HTML in your posts for me to enable BBCode - Vanilla overrides the parameters I set on the parser.
@SmokeMaxX: There’s no universal fix though as it’s up the individual poster whether they’d like to HTML or BBCode in their posts. I tried taking a look at your post and it’s the same thing as with the above: Too much HTML so Vanilla won’t allow using the BBCode parser.
@Kasperlsager- …so how do I fix that? It automatically set it up like that a few weeks ago. I couldn’t post without it all condensing into one convoluted mess. D3v had to add all the html tags because I had no idea how. If I removed them, would you be able to fix it?
