You obviously donât play sports games so you shouldnât be talking about them. Madden=cashcow no matter how shitty it will get those sales so EA has the biggest incentive in the world to release it every year. Not every release of madden or especially other sports games notably the nba 2k series are just incremental improvements.

I havenât had it this good ever. It took me twice as long to accumulate as many good games last generation as I have this one. The PS2 was my new Genesis, and the 360 is my new PS2. If I had a PS3, the same would be true, but Iâd miss GoW and Bioshock. And NG2, that was a good ride for a while. Iâd definitely be watching BR movies like a fiend, though.

For the record, I really liked me some GTA2. I also enjoyed GTA4.
Same name, and essentially the same game. The only difference is graphic wise. You can do the exact same shit in GTA2 that you can in GTA4 (online play and all). Itâs really not worth getting into over aesthetics.

Yes I meant the character designs, and true, it would be sick to see SF in that level of 2D quality. But SF4 by no means looks like ass, I think they found a nice middle ground to please us old timers and new people trying to get into SF/fighters.

Mega Man 9 is overrated and retardedly cheap.
Iâm no slouch when it comes to this series. Disappearing block puzzles are nothing to me. I eat minor enemies for lunch and play the terrain to my advantage.
So why the fuck am I getting killed in one hit all over the damned place? Pulled into spikes for being 3 pixels over too far, pushed off into pits, left with no choice but lava or magma beams? Thatâs not difficult, thatâs a cop-out!

I wish I was trolling, but as someone that has ACTUALLY played SFIV already and has seen it on an HDTV live in my face, Iâd say quite the contrary, junior. It looks a lot better than what youâre seeing on a Youtube vid. Itâd be nice if 3D translated well on Youtube, but it doesnât.
Of course it would look good in 2D. No one is saying it wouldnât. But you have to realize that itâs a whole new generation of gamers and 3D is whatâs in. Live with it. SFIV is a solid game with all of the shit we loved from the old games. You act like it turned into DOA or something.
Plus, youâre looking at Blazblue which is a game made by some of the folks that worked at Capcom during the 2D years. The last time Capcom tried fucking around with 2D, they half-assed it and gave us Capcom Fighting Jam which was a Mugen game packed and sold at 30 dollars.
And you also gotta look from a development standpoint: 3D is much easier to work with than 2D. But yeah, keep judging off Youtube vids, your opinion is nothing new. Most people said the same thing when SFIV was in development. Now itâs a whole different tune. No surprise there.

Update on my opinions, and its worth the neg:
Broken fighting games are fucking entertaining as hell.
Balance is overrated, closed in tiers however is just lovely.
Wii got a titch better in my eyes. Wario Land Shake and DAT Tats made the wii a buy.
Still not getting a ps3.
We need a God Hand sequel.
