Unpopular gaming opinions SECOND IMPACT

Agreed

I dunno. I did play Resident Evil 1 and 2 in the dark and I was scared shitless[was 16 at the time] after I turned it off and heard noises at 1am in the morning.

…Luckily, it was just my rabbit.

…that went well.

CTR was ass. It played too slow for me. It had no intensity going for it during races. I traded my copy the following week after getting it for Christmas(THANKS MOM!!!).

Tony Hawk 2 will always be the greatest THPS game ever.

You just gave me and SHINOBI III diarrhea. :wasted:

sabi

@ deathscythe

there is a reasonable explanation I’m sure.

how old were you?
I don’t think you gave it enough time…
I thought it was great especailly compared to those crappy slow mario kart games. the items were better and I loved the shortcuts and the stages. boss stage was too fun

Indeed, CTR > MK:SNES or MK:DD

not the N64 though

I agree with this and I’m really happy about it, I never thought they could improve on the piece of hawtness SM was. Too bad the background story was soooo damn tacky.

I was 15 at the time(dunno how that affects anything).

Me and my friends gave it so many chances. It just didn’t click at all.

The stage designs were pretty good. But, the gameplay just didn’t go well with that stage design. There was something missing. I can’t pinpoint it right now, but it was just lacking. When I was done unlocking everything, I just kinda thought about it and I realized I was playing Mario Kart for the PSX.

Mario Kart 64 was just that much better.

@SFFanatic:

Fuck you. Double Dash was nuts. :arazz:

another problem with CarnEvil was the gun. Those were the most uncomfortable lightguns in the history of the industry. I couldn’t even finish playing the game because of that. It was like a shotgun, but smaller…haha…like a midget version of a shotgun.

I’m not sure why, really…but Dead Rising didn’t really grab me. I’d get it eventually…but only for cheap. It just seems like a 20 dollar game to me, rather than something you pay full price.

Double Dash was ass. I don’t mean Amanda Bynes ass, I mean Melyssa Ford ass. Screw that damn game.

I thought Double Dash and the N64 version were ass…DD being more ass-tacular though.

actually N64 wasn’t that bad, but CTR was much better

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!

Your avatar has the most awesome person in television history gracing it, yet you dislike the awesomeness that is Seiken Densetsu 3?

YOU ARE DEAD TO MEH!

Oh, and if they did a Xenogears remake, they would need to redo the battle system completely. The combat system in normal mode boils down to spam your best special and in gear mode boils down to get to infinity mode and pwn. Oh, and some of the bosses in that game were rediculous. Having to fight frikkin’ Opiomorph immediately after fighting Amphysvena was bullshit of the highest order. The only RPG mandatory boss batlle that I can think of that comes close is Yunalesca in FFX.

some people like me however played sh, 1st and then res evil, and after playing SH res evil isnt scary at all

Play Guardian Heroes’ arena mode (after beating the game and unlocking all the enemies). Treasure used the same engine as they did for YYH: Makyou Toitsusen, but this has better graphics and more characters onscreen…and HUGE beams, electric whips, and ice storm spells.

Yeah Silent Hill 1 had more Evil mood i also like part 2:wgrin:

Resident Evil 1 back when it got released, i used to dream that shit:rofl: after playing

I definetely was big on Guardian Heroes. I forgot about that one, thanks. But, YYH was much faster, god do I miss Treasure and 2D.

ewwwwww:wasted:

if MK64 didn’t have shitty rubberband AI, it would’ve been good.

Final Fantasy 6 > Final Fantasy 7

…wait, that’s a popular opinion now. Never mind.

Forza Motorsport > Gran Turismo

I like 7 over 6.
