Unpopular gaming opinions SECOND IMPACT

You know what’s funny?
When I bought the original X-Box back in the day, that shit was advertising its hard drive and how you could listen to your own music with it.

I think the only game that ever made use of it were the GTA games when their exclusive license with Sony ran out.

Why in the actual fuck?

Every time I play games with tedious and repetitive music, either 'cuz the game is fucking long or because the soundtrack is plain ass, I wonder why the fuck I can’t do my own playlist inside the fucking game.

Burnout on OGXbox had Custom Sound Tracks.

I’ve had custom sound tracks for years. It’s called a CD player.

You’re missing out. It’s fun as fuck, especially if you’re in a country where there are no road rules/street lights/stop signs/whatever. You drive around like it’s IRL GTA.

Not recommended for the faint of heart or those who lack a pair of balls.

Very easy to stream music over wifi. Started doing it almost immediately after getting my 360.

You can stream from your phone, even.

I dunno about recently, but you could change the soundtrack of the EA NHL games. I used to have all these specific songs with badass intro’s for in between whistles, and had intro songs for my team. I even would use the actual songs they play in the ACC as well.

@ArtVandelay
This game?

Fuck yeah, that’s it!

RC Pro AM is still great. That other old school rally game from the arcade is dope. Sim racers just blow imo. Just go drive my own car around if I wanna get bored. Just like the only sports game I have ever liked is NBA Jam. That shit was dope back in the day. Only good sports game, imo.

Other dude - get bent.

Main Series Time Crisis Tier List:

S- 3
A-2,1
B-4

Arcade sports games are the only ones I would even think about playings. NBA Jam and NBA Street are the only basketball games I enjoyed. Blitz and NFL Street when it comes to football.

Meh I liked the NFL2K simulations.
Those were cool games.

Especially when you turned off Off Sides and Encroachment penalties. So many LOLs.

Confession time:

Whenever I’m about to face a boss in Dark Souls, I disable the internet on my PS3 so I can summon phantoms to help me out. I always get killed when people invade my world :frowning:

i bought the red octane one for $40, while double what the regular xbox mic is, it’s so much better in every way that i would never go back, it’s a cheap shitty turtle beach headset but i didn’t want to spend $100+ on a headset

my brother and I have had our own sets for a year and the only thing that’s broke on mine is the mic wire (from the headset to the controller) because i was drunk and turned a weird way when it was plugged into my arcade stick (so it was my fault, not the headset being faulty)

not trying to promote it, but if you keep breaking your xbox headset and don’t want to keep buying them, just buy this one, it’s only $20 more (so basically buying 2 xbox headsets) and can be used on your PC as well

if you really must get an xbox one instead of ps4 get a Wii U instead of an xbox one

post of the year

Have you tried NBA Hangtime?

Looks like a cool game. I’ll try it out and get back to you.

I didn’t play Hangtime but I did play it’s sequel NBA Showtime. It’s NBA Jam in everything but name so I loved it.

I think you’ll like Hangtime more since Hangtime doesn’t have fouls like Showtime (or at least fouls turned me off).

NFL Street 2 is the best arcade sport sim of all time. I literally can’t stress this enough. NFL Hitz, NBA Hangtime, and NBA Street V3 are up there too.
