I donāt know how it matches up with VF because Iāve played some titles sparingly over the years and never immensely enjoyed any of them but that Yu Yu Hakusho game is Super DBZ done correctly.

I donāt think BB is that bad, just entirely unnecessary. Why would you make a fighting game that is almost exactly like the one youāre known for but have it NOT be the fighting game youāre known for. The main characters are even eerily similar. There was just no reason to create BB. Any of those characters wouldāve worked in Guilty Gear.

Oh hell no. Canvas Curse is not only by far the best Kirby game, but better than 98% of SNES games, and too boot no game makes better use of the stylus except maybe Ninja Gaiden.

This game to me had more atmosphere than any of the others.
I think itās pretty clear since BBCT they were aiming to make a different fighting game that was more beginner friendly and not just another GG clone. Sure thereās some similar mechanics but most of them are implemented differently.
N64 Kirby feels half-assed as hell. Even the menu screens feel like they stuck shit together and called it a day. Iām not even sure that game has a soundtrack as much as it has looping MIDI sequences.
Nintendo really needs to do a Canvas Curse sequel for the Wii U and/or 3DS. Like holy fuck that should have been one of the first things they got on.
Konjak also needs to do a sequel to Chalk for Wii U too. Too many good ideas being wasted when the perfect controller for them is RIGHT THERE.
I wouldnāt mind a Pac Pix sequel either, I think it was very underrated.
