QTE’s if used right don’t really bug me. Just those times when you have no prior knowledge of their existence in a title and a long cutscenes just ended before a panicking button comes up, and of course you die from the unexpected to repeat it all.
That and games literally built around QTE’s are very aggravating, no idea how people deal with that. Good luck Ryse.
Unpopular opinion…Skull Girls got over hyped as the savior of FGs… not to say it’s a bad game, but alot of people put so much stock into it to be taking SF4/UMVC3 that with it being pushed back, then brought back into the spot light, then pushed back again… now it’s been put into the niche/anime game realm where only day 1 folks play hardcore.
I think a lot of people got pissed or fed up with the “Savior of the FGC” taglines and what not. It’s a two way street, as I just ignored those guys, and dl’ed the demo when it was out. Then bought the game and enjoyed it. It’s not my type of fighter (when I refined my taste to what I like, don’t care for etc) but it was a lot of fun and I really like the custom assist idea in it. When I get a PC, I can see myself getting it on Steam, just to have and mess around with.
People misunderstand me. The 360 pad is uncomfortable because I have large adult hands. I need a pad that’s more spread out, rather than squished down and bulky. My fingers hit the battery compartment, and pressing the bumpers with my index finger is only marginally easier than pressing ‘Y’ with my index finger.
Also triggers are useless for FPS. There’s no such thing as analog bullets.
