I liked Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams
Was it better than Onimusha 3? Nope, but I liked being able to rotate the camera. I like how you could control/direct AI characters with minor effort to make them less dumb than most gameâs attempts.
It did have some bad things like a flawed RPG-like weapon system (1 unique animation shared with 20 other weapons), and a shit non-saving Phantom realm mode.
Not the greatest game in the series, but still had some improvements and some flaws. No Samanosuke as the main character didnât help matters either.
Yep, itâs good but not great. Solid continuation of the series with a slightly connected cast. I hope Capcom does something with the series in the future, just as long as they donât come up with some stupid way to âWesternizeâ the series.
I also liked Dawn of Dreams, tho I totally fucked myself over come that boss rush mode at the end cuz I only played as Soki the whole game

FF7 is complete ass - I dont say this just to be cool, I actually hated that game since day, why? Because graphically it was ugly, the characters looked like dick They had like 5 polygons. Then I thought, while watch a buddy playthough it when it was newâŚit has no actual gameplayâŚ
JRPGS have no gameplay - You walk into battle which may or may not be predetermined, in which you press X/A to confirm an action.
PlayStation 3 exclusives all suck. A bunch of 5 hour adventure games that add a âhardâ mode for âreplayabilityâ and by hard mode, they mean, more enemies, that do more damage, take more from you, and a platinum trophy. No thanks. Iâll rent.
I hate some games for aesthetics. For instance, SFIV. Among the other reasons it sucks, I hate the look and presentation of it. Even when the announcer screams âWhooooaahâ on first hit. Hate how every character has their ugliest iteration in SFIV. Iâd rather use little boy Ryu from Alpha/2D VS games, than ape Ryu from SFIV. Even hate the fonts for the names.

All Sonic 3D games (Adventure, Colors, 3D stages of Generations, 06, Shadow, Heroes, Lost World etc) suck!
they are worse than the worst Sonic 2D games. the thing that kept them alive? the horrible 3d design and the shitty voice acting that gave the fans something to talk about.
Anime fighters are the dregs of the dregs in Japan, just like MK and Pit Fighter are the dregs in the West.
MvC and Capcom VS games are crap but the only delusion that keeps them alive is the Marvel license.
Red Dead Redemption is a mediocre game that should stay on consoles

The OBVIOUS one for me: DmC reboot is a fantastic action game, that does the original series (mostly) justice
- Army of Two games have all been quality and fun
- I have always hated the core Megaman series with a passion
- Reboots/remakes are misunderstood and are fantastic opportunities that should be taken advantage of often.
- Marvel 3 >> Marvel 2 (although both are ass)
The Last of Us is so mediocre itâs scary. How this game got perfect 10âs across the board I will never know. The stealth is hit or miss, the shooting is boring, itâs way too easy, and the AI is retarded.
The story, while presented very well, isnât that great. I mean itâs a zombie movie, err game.
Smash Bros. is a Kingmaker among the gaming industry.

Maybe Kingmaker is too strong but no other single game franchise not connected to a major pro sport generates the fan interest that Smash Bros. seems to for its characters.

I donât know how popular this opinion is, but, Arkham City is the best overall game this generation. However I think Rocksteadyâs âgeniusâ is extremely overstated and exaggerated. They took a proven fight formula from Assassinâs Creed, dressed it up like Batman, and figured out a silky smooth way for Bats to get around and that was most of the heavy lifting right there. People afraid that this new WB studio canât handle Origins are pretty silly.
Side noteâŚthe anti TLoU stuff makes me lol/wtf simultaneously. It probably, literally deserves twice as many perfect scores as itâs received already. Game is amazingâŚyou weirdos.
@Wellman Marth and Roy were in Melee for the sole purpose of hyping up FE to western audiences. Thatâs a fact. Same with Lucas/Ness. Lucas was supposed to be in Melee instead for Mother 3.
LoZ on a whole is blown out of proportion tremendously. Especially because of the fandom. They hate on the wrong games (windwaker) and fail to realize no game in the series has surpassed ALttP.
